This guesthouse is a truly wonderful countryside farm location on the top of a hill with panoramic views. Add to this a really lovely large room with balcony and very comfortable bed and you have a truly tranquil setting for a great night's sleep. Our host Rory was very welcoming and always checking throughout our stay to ensure we were...

Shambhala has beautiful views and good service. We felt very relaxed and welcomed. I know it's a guest house and not a hotel but I still wished there was a TV in our room, sharing TV with people you just met is not very comfortable.

We enjoyed one night at Shambhala Guest House. The bed was super comfy with quality bed linen and the room was so clean. Tea and coffee including fresh milk available in both the room (coffee bags) and the dining room (plunger) at any time. Our breakfast included fresh eggs, delectable asparagus from the garden, bacon and tomatoes, plus a range...

This place is a home away from home. Great hosts (Rory & Ruth) - you feel lat home within minutes of arriving. The two great dogs are also welcoming and are great fun. I really like this place - especially the hosts - they are great. Do yourself a favour and spend the weekend there !

Modern guest house B&B. Stunning views from our room and deck. Beautifully planted and landscaped garden. Rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. Rory and Ruth are your hosts. Terrific service and hospitality. Our only regret was that we stayed only one night. The area around Bridgetown is a delightful region to visit. And coming back to that view each...

Immaculately clean accommodation in a breathtakingly beautiful location. Lovely breakfast and the friendliest resident dogs! Highly recommended. The view from just outside the room was absolutely stunning. Thanks for an excellent stay.

If you don't like a quiet location, incredible views over valleys and orchards, well-kept grounds, simple yet elegant and extremely comfortable furnishings, a crackling wood fire in the evening and a convivial host who makes a great breakfast, then you've definitely picked the wrong place! Shambhala is a Sanskrit term meaning "place of peace, tranquillity & happiness." The aptly-named Shambhala...

Shambhala Guest House is a treat - bedrooms have gorgeous views over the valley, comfortable beds, all with ensuites and pristinely clean. Breakfast was great and served in a delightful dining room. A short drive to the heart of Bridgetown. Thank you...

Our one night stay in the queen balcony room exceeded our expectations. The room is tastefully decorated and it was a joy to wake up to such a beautiful view of the valley and to watch the birds in the garden. The bed was extremely comfortable and cosy with down doona and pillows. Loved the rainwater shower. Amazing communal lounge...
