We booked a room here as it is near to an event I was competing in. The rooms are lovely and large, and very clean. The bathroom is modern. Check in was easy through the bar/restaurant counter. We also had dinner steak salad and chips couldn’t fault it. Would definitely recommend the accommodation and meals and will definitely be back. A lovely little old pub!

You wouldn't think The Bridgetown Hotel would be a hospitality trendsetter, but it seems they have pioneered a breakthrough in country pub customer service. It's called the "Have exactly what's on the menu with zero changes, and if you don't like it then too bad" model. Visiting for a family lunch, I perused the menu and decided the Hambuger was really the only offering that I wanted. There was just one problem - it came adorned with something called 'Honey Mustard Mayo'. Three words which, in my opinion, put together in that order, have no place on a burger served in a country pub or anywhere else. So I set upon a cunning plan to order the otherwise delicious sounding hamburger 'sans' special sauce. Sadly, my plan was foiled, as we were sternly informed by the serving staffmember, tapping the sign on the counter in a manner reminiscent of a certain sitcom Soup purveyor, that there were to be no menu changes, not even one that involved simply <not> adding something. You see, apparently, the kitchen staff don't do special requests. The Hamburger, by the way, was on the menu for $26. I can't say what it was like, because I didn't feel like giving 26 of my hard earned dollarbucks to an establishment which has such little respect for its customers that it chooses not to accomodate a simple request like refraining from adding sauce to a hamburger. A Michelin starred restaurant this ain't, so if you're going to charge that sort of coin for some grilled mince between two pieces of bread with some frozen chips on the side, at least train your staff to accomodate simple customer requests. And lose the honey mustard mayo. ps. I've given them 2 stars, because my family, who were hungry and therefore not prepared to join me in my boycott, seemed to enjoy their meals, which looked pretty much like reasonably executed standard pub fare. Plus the beer I had in lieu of a meal was pretty good.

Didn't stay just dined. Very little choice on the menu even though it said outside that you could have the weekday menu plust extra for the weekend menu, they had the parmy so I asked of I could swap to have mushroom sauce instead of the party sauce and was told I would have to have it on the side, not a big deal but they charged me extra for the sauce instead of just swapping it, asked if I could have mash and veg instead of the salad and chips but got a flat out NO, never had this happen before, when it came out the chips were dry and the was no dressing on the salad, I've swapped before and have been to this pub many times and they had always swapped the chips for Mash. Won't be back.

Stayed 2 nights in a queen bed spa room. Room was comfortable with a large bathroom. As the weather was extremely cold, heating in the bathroom is really needed. We can't quite understand why heating wasn't added with the obvious renos!! No hot water on the last morning, couldn't find anyone to discuss or any explanation was given. Dinner at the restaurant was great with really friendly staff and just popping downstairs from your room for a drink or food is convenient. Continental breakfast was nice. It's self-serve ... shame, there was no one to assist as there were no knives/teaspoons/bowls and hot milk connection for the coffee maker.

The rooms are nice. However the service is poor. The hotel seems to be understaffed. For example the internet was not working but the staff still gave us passwords. There was no one who could explain how the breakfast worked. The staff member who was there did not know how the coffee machine worked and by asking he walked away. A big mystery .

The hotel is lovely, the accommodation has lovely large room with front verandas. The bathroom is large with spa but there is no exhaust to draw out the moisture and the floors become very slippery, I tried to put the vertical window up but would not stay open so had to hook it to the blind. The complimentary breakfast was very nice with good variety. After returning from our day out return to room and the only housekeeping to be done was rubbish bin emptied, supplies replenished and two replacement bath mats as they where extremely wet. No fresh towels, no bed made, no coffee cups washed and set up. When your paying full price for second night the room should be completely refreshed for your return, so was quite disappointed with this. Location is great close to all shops.

Had booked four nights at this hotel as it was recommended by a friend I booked though Booking.com and received the normal confirmation email telling me I had a reservation. Two days later I get a call from the hotel telling me they had internet issues and the room wasn’t available to me anymore. The guy I was speaking to didn’t sound very convincing and wasn’t very apologetic at all I sent off a email the next day under another name to see if they had a room for these same four night Yes was the answer We have a room available I wrote on there Facebook page and asked why I was lied too As usual didn’t get a reply. I will be passing though Bridgetown Shorty so I will expect to see the manager in person as I would love to know why I was lied too

With the Manjimup Cherry Festival on the weekend it was difficult to find a hotel last week. We booked the last available room with breakfast directly with the hotel. It was a double and single bed with ensuite with breakfast included in the tarrif. The Bridgetown is a typical traditional country style heritage hotel. The room on the front balcony was spacious with a double and single bed. A huge ensuite with a spa bath was a nice surprise. A continental breakfast with great coffee is self serve and is fully stocked with a good assortment of juices, yoghurts, breads, jams etc. Eat as much as you like. We enjoyed late afternoons with a glass of wine on the balcony watching the passing parade of assorted produce and cattle trucks etc in this busy rural town. We overlooked the gorgeous heritage post office. We loved the vibe of Bridgetown with its lovely little boutiques and cute shops selling lots of fashion homewares and assorted bric a brac.. Dinner in the hotel restaurant on the back balcony was lovely. It is busy and well patronised by locals and tourists because the food is excellent! We returned for our second night dinner as we enjoyed the first night so much. Top quality black angus scotch fillet cooked to my requested medium/medium rare and thick, soft goldband snapper fillets both served with a medly of local produce by a talented chef. Wow! We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Bridgetown. Peter and his hotel/restaurant team are friendly and very accommodating. Nothing is any trouble. We highly recommend the Bridgetown Hotel. The room was not perfect but comfortable and clean. I'm sure you could find things that could be fixed or updated however if you are looking for a nice honest country experience, stay at the Bridgetown. ps. If you love a cake and coffee, the Bridgetown has a huge assortment of delicious cakes! Thanks Peter, see you next year. Kind regards

My wife and I stayed here for one night whilst travelling between Albany and Margaret River - just to break the journey and have a look. The hotel itself is very homely and welcoming - good old fashioned country service! Our room was very roomy and comfortable with a large ensuite that was well appointed. Again old style class. Breakfast was included in the reasonable room price - a self service come buffet style. Dining was a highlight - the very efficient service and quality of food was one of the best during our two week journey through the south west. Wish we had stayed longer!
