Welcome to Lewana Cottages in Balingup - located two and a half hours south west from Perth, Western Australia in the Blackwood River Valley. We are located 14km from the Balingup Town Centre, and in good proximity to all the attractions the area has to offer. Lewana Cottages is the perfect holiday destination for those wanting a relaxing and secluded holiday surrounded by nature. Our accommodation comprises of six heritage listed ex-forestry workers cottages so ideal for couples, families or groups. They are located in a rural clearing set amongst a 100 acre pine forest which attracts an abundance of wildlife.

What a lovely piece of paradise, a definite return trip planned. With shower and toilet amenities for campers . Sites accommodate vans, camper, tents and with on site cottages for those that don't camp. No mobile reception, however for those that need to be connected there is a 5G receiver up the hill at the "shed" entertainment area. For animal lovers you'll enjoy the range of wildlife from the llamas/alpacas, Peacocks, Pea hen (bush turkey) kangaroos, to the free range chickens. Fresh produce at the shop, which offer home-made jams, fresh Honey and free-range eggs. There is coffee cart open on weekends at the shop, for those that need your specialty coffee. What an incredible venue and hosts! We had a family member get married there on the weekend and it was amazing! The hosts were so accommodating, friendly and helpful! There were so many things to do and it made for a magical wedding weekend. Thank you!

My partner, Lauren and I were married at Lewana last weekend and it was the most incredible 3 nights with our family and friends. Mark and Jayne are the ultimate hosts and great people - nothing was an issue, they were super helpful throughout the whole planning process and the weekend and even joined us for the celebrations. The venue was perfect for our wedding and the cottages are super comfortable and have everything you need. We had such a great weekend and would highly recommend Lewana for a wedding or a getaway!!!! We didn't want to leave! We'll certainly be back ❤

Just had a wonderful 4 day escape at the beautiful Lewana Cottages. Great accommodation - comfortable and clean with everything we needed for our stay. Surrounded by the spacious lush green grounds, farm animals and birds this was a real return to nature and time to slow the pace down. We went for some walks and also got some mountain bike riding in. Explored the surrounding towns which were all so close. Had some lovely nights in the common area sitting around the fire. Our kids loved exploring and playing soccer on the lawns. Very safe and secure place to stay. Mark and Jayne are amazing hosts. You get a real sense about how passionate they are about the cottages and their history. They are so knowledgeable and I really enjoyed our morning chats at their coffee kiosk. I felt so at home at Lewana and while this was my first visit, it certainly won't be my last. We will be back! Thanks Mark and Jayne!!…

Just had the most amazing long weekend at Lewana Cottages! Our hosts Jayne and Mark could not have been more accomodating for our large group. We had our first long weekend last year and had such a great time, we returned again this year and will do the same next year! Facilities have been well maintained and we could see that a number of improvements had been made. I can confidently recommend this establishment for a relaxing, peaceful break. Such a beautiful setting - looking forward making many more memories there !

Absolutely awesome place to stay, beautiful surroundings with lovely cozy cottages. Hosts Mark and Jayne are wonderful people - very knowledgeable about the area and extremely accommodating. This is the perfect place to have a wedding, special birthday or a large family/friend group getaway. The large fire pit area with seating & shelter is the perfect place for everyone to congregate and BBQ, dance and sing into the night. We loved that our hosts joined us for a drink and a singalong for part of the evening. Happy times! This is our second visit with a friend group of 8 families, and we have all re-booked for a 3rd trip next year! Thank you once again Mark and Jayne.

Well, certainly had an awesome long weekend getaway with friends for a 60th birthday. Mark & Jayne are VERY accommodating. Organised a TV for the Footy Grand Final 👌 Luv the rustic cottages. Fireplace certainly kept us warm. The Fire 🔥 Pit, BBQ area, eating area & drabce floor are great. Had fun times around the Fire pit. Thanks again... Mark & Jayne....👍😀

Honestly fantastic hosts and a fantastic location. If anyone is looking to get away of even get married here i would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone! Hosts were a big reason for this with there accomodating nature and excellent customer service they were a treat to deal with.

Mark and Jayne were absolutely lovely and so accommodating! We really couldn’t have wished for a better experience! Lewana Cottages is a stunning and beautiful place to be and would highly recommend! Felt unwelcome from the owners with a long list of rules despite being long term patrons. Creepy CCTV everywhere made us feel very uncomfortable. If your thinking of holding a wedding there - don't. The third world bathrooms haven't been upgraded for a long time. Disappointing as beautiful part of WA ruined by owners conduct.
