We had a 3 night stay at Sheoak in a lovely cabin for 6 people which included children aged 4 to 10. The views were amazing and the cabin was really well furnished and equipped and included a cosy log fire. The kids especially loved the loft bedroom via a ladder! Sheoak is a very short drive from town and... More

Not a bad place to stay the fire was going when we arrived and the place was warm as others say the ladder to the attic room was steep not for small children or people enjoying a drink or two view was beautiful , couple of things wrong are wifi hit and miss and they had the wrong wood for... More

We had a three night stay here and have to say there was a little trepidation having read some of the previous reviews. The hardest part was actually finding Hillview Road. It is not marked from the Main Street. What you need to do is go up Ellis Street and it becomes Hillview Road. The chalets are clearly marked and... More

Best place one can stay in when visiting Augusta, short 5 minute drive to the main Augusta Town and 10 minute drive to the spectacular Augusta Light house where one can see two oceans meet. Having made the reservation directly with the owner’s one can say the booking process was hassle free. The chalet was nice clean with all the... More

I came here with my family and 3 other families and friends. I like the place as it is near to the bakery, iga, Catholic church and more. The view from our lounge window is great. The things that we need in the kitchen are all there. We wanted to do a barbecue but there was no gas. We should... More

I enjoyed to be there since our arrival. We arrived at the office at about 6 pm, there was no body at there but in a small box next to the main door was a message "Welcome Claudia", when I opened the box were the key and a little box of milk, I found it really original and totally unexpected.... We stay here a lot and the owners could not be more helpful and bend over backwards to supply everything we need or want. The location is on the very quiet road to the golf course which has very little traffic. The outlook is to the sunrise across pastures to the Blackwood River. While behind us is the national park... We stayed at the chalets for 2 nights with our 2 young boys. The chalets are so lovely and comfortable and well equipped. The view was amazing and the service from Steve the owner was fantastic. We will definitely be back for another stay very soon.

Stayed here for one night on our way to Denmark. Great location, great service and free internet (yay!!!). The chalet was well-equipped and while the furniture may look a little out of date, it's still a great place to visit. We were well looked after by Steve and enjoyed our time here.

We were looking forward to our annual girls weekend in Augusta for a change. Chalet 1 was, to say the least, disappointing. We were 7 adults and were told we would have three bedrooms; two downstairs & one upstairs. What they failed to mention was 'upstairs' was actually the attic accessed via an almost vertical ladder into the manhole. The... More
