Bev, the woman who took our booking and checked us in couldn't have been more lovely and accommodating, not only taking the time to tell us how to find the motel when I called and booked but when she brought us to our room she showed us how everything worked. She goes above and beyond! As a travelling couple we just needed a place to shower and lay our heads but this exceeded all of our expectations in everyway given how cheap the room was! The heater and electric blankets had been turned on prior to our arrival. Cold water was in the fridge and a small 200ml milk but was also offered a complimentary 1liter milk if we wanted upon check in. The room has all the bells and whistles with microwave kettle and toaster. PROPER coffee MUGS not small disposable cups with tea, coffee and biscuits. Cutlery, plates and bowls... there's nothing you could want for in this lovely room and the cleanliness is amazing. Do yourself a favour and check this place out if you're passing through. You will not be dissapointed.

We wanted to stay at the Wattle Grove earlier in the year but it was booked out, and no wonder as Bev the owner goes out of her way to make you welcome. Rather than just give you the key and leave you to your own devices she took us to our room and showed us how everything worked. Plus turned on the electric blankets, fresh milk plus eating utensils plates etc. The microwave was great too. We chose to have our meal delivered as Bev gave us a list of places where you could pick up or have it delivered. Very nice food too. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spotless. Also a nice touch was the Sheridan towels. If you have a family or group looking for somewhere to stay check out the 3 Bedroom Villa it’s amazing.. 😊

Very comfortable room that was smallish but well equipped and modern. Everything worked, room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Bev is a very friendly, accommodating host and nothing was too much trouble. We really appreciate places like this where the traveller is made to feel welcome. The room rate was also very good value and the location meant that we could abandon the car to walk into town for the evening.

The cleanest motel room I have ever stayed in. Sheridan bath towels were great. All the room features were great, comfortable and in good working order. The availability of plates, bowls & cutlery was unexpected but helpful. Bev the staffer present was super friendly, firstly showing us to our room, showing the BBQ area etc & even checking days later if everything was ok with the room & with dining suggestions. Golf on country course was relaxing as we had it to ourselves.

We stayed here for 2 nights last weekend. We were upgraded at no extra cost. The owner could not do enough for make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Room was spotless and cleaned each day and having cutlery and crockery, toaster and microwave was a bonus. We would definitely recommend staying here, and will be back again.

Bev at the Wattle Grove Motel in Maryborough was recommended to me by my sister who has stayed there twice. Bev was lovely to deal with, very attentive to detail and made sure you had everything you needed and more. Very comfortable warm room with very modern and new en-suite bathroom. All the amenities you would expect, great size flat screen TV with lots of channels and good reception. Bed was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Great Free WiFi, I streamed Netflix no probs. Highly recommend a stay with Bev and her husbsnd, I’ll be back. 👍🏼🇦🇺

This is our second time visiting Wattle Grove, the first time was to buy our detectors and go gold prospecting, our stay was carefree, clean and very well priced. We have come back now to do a detecting course; and to go prospecting more around the areas with My hubby, mother and small daughter- we decided to stay in the 3 Bedroom Villa. We were certainly not disappointed, such a beautifully spaced out apartment! We were surprised by how large it is- with a fully setup kitchen and family room. There were games and dvds for our daughter, condiments if we needed them (I had already packed everything but the kitchen sink 🙄), washing machine and dryer. Bev was very welcoming to us and was an absolute delight to talk to, she made us feel very warm and welcome. Although we didn’t find gold in our prospecting and certainly feel like we hit gold in this little villa, we will certainly be back again with our family!

On arrival the owner greeted us and was most helpful and showed us to our rooms and how to use the facilities in the room and outside. Located in a nice quiet end of town no noise. Rooms where very comfortable and extremely clean. Will stay there again for sure. Thank you for a happy caring nature Don’t see this kind of high grade service anymore well done

Location suited us fine, couple of km from town but only a 2-minute drive to amenities. Reservoir and walking track literally around the corner for an evening stroll and resetting ones focus. Decided on a Queen room and the hostess freely upgraded us to a family room for convenience, and having 2 vehicles was no concern for parking or security. Very clean with good, functioning facilities and comfortable sleeping arrangements. No intrusive noises. Happily recommend.

Absolutely spectacular. Immaculately clean, Bev is an amazing host she catered to our every need and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. This is the best accommodation in Maryborough! We booked the 3 bedroom villa it has large bedrooms all with their own heating, comfortable beds and heaps of extra pillows and blankets. Large kitchen/meals/family area with heaps of space for the kids to play. Private courtyard. Pantry stocked with all the essentials you are free to use as you need. Private washer and dryer. Heaps of games and entertainment for the kids. I could go on and on about how great this place it. Highly recommend and we will be back!
