Great park, small as far as Big 4s go but very friendly staff and the park is well set out. Does not have all the bells and whistles of a typical Big 4, it has a small pool, jumping pillow and a great camp kitchen and staff light a communal fire at night which is great. Very quite often 10pm which is great and they ensure it stays that way. Just a few minutes from town and lots of walking areas from the park into town and along the river. A great place to base yourself from, we came for just 4 nights and could have stayed 7 and visited all the towns around which are in easy drive anywhere between 40 minutes to 2 hrs away). Lots of green grass, laundry and amenities as well as ensuite sites as well. The ensuite themselves are ok, not as modern as others but good size, good hot water and clean as was the camp kitchen. Thank you and we will be back !

We took our toddler camping for Easter and our family were treated absolutely amazing by the team at Big 4 in Forbes. The team were very welcoming and friendly. The facilities were sparkling clean, the park was beautifully maintained and nice and quiet. We will definitely be staying there in any future travels through or to Forbes. What a wonderful town

At no stage were you told a blunt No.( as per the security cameras) You passed a large sign as you drive in,plus also signage on the pool gate and on the door to the office that ,Park facilities are for PAID guests of the park only. You originally booked an unpower site, then as you checked in requested a drive through powered site ,which was no issue at all. you then said that you were seeing your daughter and grandchildren and they might come for a visit. You were told that they had to come to the office and check in for COVID,as per Australian Government regulations, then it was reiterated that the park facilities are for paid guests of the park only. You stated that your daughter was a local,as a local she would know that Forbes has a lovely pool area as well as a fantastic water park. Also beautiful parks and gardens that you all could of enjoyed. Instead your daughter saw fit to come into the reception and blast the poor receptionist . Three things wrong with this, one..abuse is never acceptable in any form, two. she had trespassed onto private property and three. she did not check in with the Covid regulations. We have a duty of care to our guests and as paying guests of the park,it is unfair that they cannot use the facilities if every Tom,dick and Harry are on there., Also our insurance does not cover your grandchildren if they are injured. As for you saying that the park was very tired, how could you tell? you drove in and out that fast ,that you would not have taken anything in,in-fact your daughter during her rants said that the park is beautiful. Every cabin was full and we were turning away potential guests. The poor receptionist is now having time off

We loved our stay thank you. Everything was clean. Great options for kids to do things. Lovely relaxing accommodation in a relaxing town. Just what we needed. The accommodation was everything we hoped for and more. Kids loved the jumping pillow, sand and chess board. The room was a great size. We felt safe and secure.

This park needs an update. Amenities block was small (even smaller with 1 toilet and 1 shower blocked off due to Covid restrictions). The lock on one of the ladies showers was broken and no attempt was made to fix it in the 3days I was there. No recycling bins evident although advertised. Much touted TV aerial connections weren't working well- most stations dropped out of an evening. The only good thing was that the park was very quiet and not crowded.

We thank you that you have noted that we are COVID compliant and are following Government instructions to keep everyone safe. Each amenities has three showers and three toilets. One in each is closed to to restrictions,as you said the park was quiet so it wouldn't been an issue for you then, only 4 guests are allowed at one time to be in the amenities.. The said lock in question, we had a guest approach us from site 41 to let us know the lock she pulled off in her hand, the lock was fixed within the hour.As for the TV cable, obviously you had not connected properly to it as we get 36 channels all very clear,if you had approached the owners we would have fixed your van for you. Obviously your van has issues.Forbes is a small town and we take the rubbish to the tip ourselves so we do the recycling for you, isn't that convenient?Where do we advertise recycling? you had one of the best sites in the park, site 7 is very sort after. You forgot to mention how beautiful our park is and our fantastic camp kitchen.
