Had a good night with a solo musician adding to the atmosphere.
Huge meals, prices as you'd expect from a "flasher" style pub More of a club feel.

Called in with 10 people for dinner in the bistro - the menu is not huge but offers a good range of meals. Meals were served to the table REALLY FAST and the service was great. Meals were a good size especially the snittys that almost hang off your plate

Nice meal with friendly staff.
Good place to stop after a long day traveling.
We looked at a room which was cheap and basic but clean. Decided to stay elsewhere as we didn't feel like carrying our bags up the stairs.
We had dinner there though.
Good pub food.
The Chef's special potato scallops were way to greasy for me so I removed the batter. Nice to see actual potato inside.
I had a salad and side of vegetables. Generous serve with fresh ingredients.
Husband had the Moroccan Lamb Rissoles - also a Chef's Special- and was happy.
Not fine dining, but reasonably priced with quick friendly service.

We went on the recommendation of the motel we were staying in. The so called "Thai" menu was laughable..we have been to Thailand a number of times and don't recall sweet and sour on any menu there. The other offering was crumbed lamb cutlets which were cooked to within an inch of their already dead lives. Just awful food... don't go there

Delicious food and very filling. Good vegetarian options which was impressive for a country town! Came back two nights in a row- got the gnocchi which was decent size with great flavour, and the broccolini and avocado salad with garlic bread. Cheesy garlic bread a touch soggy, but doesn’t matter when you’re hungry! Yum. Staff were friendly.

Had a nice meal at the pub which i was reffered too by the motel i was staying at not far away. Had big sized meals that were tasty and filling. It was a busy night and meals came out really quickly. Thai food also avaliable which looked great.

We had two family events at the hotel, the food was exceptional, the staff even more so. I have never come across so polite and genuinely caring young people. The whole experience was absolutely memorable beyond compare. The facility is amazing, spotlessly clean, good spaces, air conditioning was very efficient.

Dirtiest and by far the biggest rip off of a hotel I have ever encountered. Stay anywhere else but here. Actually it's almost worth experiencing it so that you can brag that you have visited the worst hotel in the world.
The staff are rude and will fleece you double for your stay.
The room had bugs, the smelliest beds, filthy floors, broken blinds and the noisiest air conditioner that my ears have been assaulted with.
The complimentary breakfast is a stale box of cereal with tiny long life milk cartons that give you just enough milk to choke down the meal if you're game.
It's located above a noisy pub that closes at 4am but don't worry. If you wish to drown out the duff duff music and screaming just turn your aircon back on and enjoy the soothing sounds of dinosaurs fighting a Harley Davidson.
An insomniacs dream stay. You won't get a wink of sleep but the freaks and ferrels will keep you entertained all night.
The only good thing that i can write is that we are leaving and never ever coming back. I can't wait to shower and fumigate my luggage.

This is not a charming country pub - it is large, dated and the staff are not all that friendly. Is it a good place to stop for a beer? - well if you want pokies I suppose - but if you are looking for a pleasant venue I would go elsewhere. I am returning on business to Forbes but won't be returning here.

Wow. Do yourself a favour and take the time to have a Thai meal. The masaman curry is the best I have had outside of Thailand. The friendly service provided by the staff at the hotel was exceptional. I will be sure to come back next time I am in town.
