We recently stayed at Greenlaws for 7 nights. The guesthouse is bright and clean. Our room had a fabulous view of the Old town bay and the beach is only a few steps away. Heather and Ian are fabulous hosts. They made us very welcome. Breakfast delicious. We contacted Heather and Ian prior to our trip and they were able... More

Stayed at Greenlaws for 10 days recently and must say that we agree with everything that previous guests have said. It is a lovely location and Heather and Ian are a fantastic couple who make you feel very comfortable and welcome from the off. The breakfast (cooked wonderfully by Heather) offers a superb choice and is served with with a... More

My husband and I spent six nights at Greenlaws, and everything was perfect. It’s a gem of a place, away from the busy main town, so we had a wonderful 15 minute walk down to the Quay to begin and end each day. Ian and Heather are the perfect hosts; full of interesting facts about the islands and things to... More

My friend and I stayed at this small but perfect guesthouse as we were attending a wedding and christening in Tresco. Ian and Heather the owners made our stay 'exceptional.' For me it's always the little things that make the big difference and they are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the islands, happy to offer advice or call us a... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay ...with a delightful warm friendly welcome from both Ian and Heather our hosts, our room was complete with a drinks facility, fresh white towels, complimentary toiletries , the room was cosy and pleasant with a seaside country feel and a view of the beautiful beach, the bed was exceptionally comfortable and the room spotlessly clean.... The Greenlaws Guest House is in a lovely setting on the shores of a small sandy bay, 5 minutes walk from the Airport and about 10 minutes walk from the town with all the restaurants and shops. The owners were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble including an unexpected full English breakfast 45 minutes before breakfast... More

Fantastic little guest house, with clean comfortable beds (partner has had spinal surgery and no complaints!) and equipped with the usual tea/coffee making facilities, ensuite etc. Location is perfect; beautiful and peaceful and only a short walk from the much busier Hugh Town. Ian is a top bloke, made us feel welcome without intrusiveness, and being first timers to Scilly... More

Our stay was totally unplanned,an extra day added unexpectedly to our holiday on Scilly owing to our Skybus flight being cancelled because of bad weather. The Tourist Information Bureau on Porthcressa were very helpful, told us Greenlaws had a vacancy for one night, and we were just pleased not to have to sleep on the beach! But when we arrived... Stayed at Greenlaws for 3 nights during our holiday. The room was so clean and comfortable - really lovely. The breakfast dining room was so bright and overlooking the bay. Breakfast was first class - good quality, the best breakfast we have had from a B&B ever! Ian, heather Lucy and Rob are a fantastic team.
