Enjoyed our 4 nights here. First visit to the Isles of Scilly. Good location despite being up a short hill but good to have a choice of walking down the road into town (approx 10 mins) or via the path down to Porthcressa Beach (5 mins). Our room, number 5 was a little small but comfortable. Breakfasts were tasty but... More

A lovely B and B, nice greeting, friendly and helpful, room 3 was ideal, extremely clean and nicely decorated, comfortable bed, airy, the choice at breakfast was great and really tasty, especially the fruit yogurt and muesli, use of a fridge for milk or your packed lunch and use of a microwave , the lounge had good games and information... Comfortable room, large guest lounge and excellent breakfast all delivered in a friendly and efficient manner. Situated about half way between old Hugh Town and the 'new' town and harbour with only a 5-10 minute walk to a choice of great restaurants, beaches and much more. A lovely place to base yourself to explore St Mary's and the Off Islands... More

What a lovely B&B with good hosts. Room was a little small (4) but was nice and bright with good on-suite. Although its only 10 mins from St Marys down going and up back the hill is not that much of a worry. Good places to eat and of course plenty of walks.

We received a warm welcome and had a comfortable stay at this lovely B&B. A good location between the old town and Hugh Town, we were able to walk in either direction for restaurants and cafes. Although we were in Room 1, which is small, we were not inconvenienced in any way as the owners have furnished it with attention... More

The breakfast was excellent with great variety. The service was always prompt, friendly and helpful. The owner provided a fridge and microwave so guests could self cater in the evening, if they chose to do so. We found that very useful, as it was a good half mile into the centre of town. There was always hot water for showers.... More

Belmont a substantial building with five B&B rooms. It is a ten or twelve minute walk from the centre of Hugh Town and that probably makes it less popular than those which are nearer. It is very pleasant. There is a large lounge with useful tourist books on the islands for visitors, not that we ever availed ourselves of any... More

We spent five days at Belmont B & B. It was an ideal place to stay for our walking holiday on the isles of Scilly. We were looked after very well - lovely big room, great breakfasts, friendly hosts. A few minutes walk into the centre of town and harbour.

We stayed in room 1, and I'm afraid I wouldn't stay in that room again - it was really cramped. But we slept well, due to all the walking we did, and the wonderful clean air, and the bed was comfortable enough. The room did smell slightly musty, but we kept the window open, and it wasn't really a problem.... More
