Comfortable, friendly and welcoming guest house, 5 minutes walk from The Turks Head pub. Landlady, Rosie, is as charming and helpful as ever, offering a good breakfast and cream teas and cakes on selected days (Tuesdays and Thursdays when we visited). Rosie also hosts pizza evenings once a week, with excellent, home cooked pizzas on offer, which adds another food...

Covean Cottage was comfortable and Rosie is welcoming as host. Currently the cottage is also open as a tea shop twice a week, so on those days there is the added bonus of snacks. But the quality of both food and accommodation is great. Covean Cottage is not a large building, and so there is definitely a feeling of being...

Few people do B&B on the Island of St Agnes, and our thanks to Rosie for offering this service. This cottage is a small Scilly Isles property, and hence the facilities are compact, and guests share the shower facility. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was a good traditional 'English' breakfast. As the proprietor is single handed,...

I needed a room for a couple of nights whilst up at Troytown farm and this place was able to to provide a room and breakfast for a couple of nights. Magical... walking back to the place at 2am from farm, no lights and the sky was clear.... breakfast was well needed. I was staying here during RSGB IOTA contest,...

We booked late and it was hard to secure any accommodation on an off island (ie away from St Mary's). We enjoyed 4 nights here at the end of August in a double and twin for our children: the beds were very comfortable and the views particularly good from the front room (though wifi better at the back!) . The...

We stayed here for a couple of nights. The property was cosy clean and comfortable as was the room. The drawback was that there was a shared bathroom, but of course we were aware of that before we came. Rosie, the landlady was delightful and looked after us perfectly. Very enjoyable stay and we would have no hesitation in booking...

I don't know where to start - this little cottage is amazing, and Rosie is a fantastic hostess. When you arrive your bags are taken to the cottage for you by golf buggy, so there's no carrying your luggage for miles - I sneakily managed to hitch a ride as well. :-) My room was situated at the front of...

Fantastic place to stay when you want to get away from it all for a relaxing vacation. Great location too, 5 minutes up the lane from the Turks Head pub, above the quay. Rooms are quite small and not en suite since this is a guest house, but the bed was extremely comfortable. Our host, Rosie was very friendly, welcoming...

Stayed at Covean for 3 nights before having 3 on St Marys and then a week on Bryher. We had a lovely comfortable stay here, enjoying a super comfortable bed and spacious (shared) bathroom. My only less that positive comment would be that it seems the breakfast menu doesn't really allow for flexibility in that when a fellow guest wanted...

We spent our 40th wedding anniversary here. The most comfortable bed I have slept in away from home. Lovely views. Ideal situation. Great breakfasts. A lovely lounge if you are unlucky enough to have bad weather. Fresh milk in a flask each day for tea in the morning in bed. Poor wifi but hey, if you're on holiday you should...
