When visiting family in Follina, we stayed at the Cavallino and had a splendid time. Very friendly, welcoming staff, parking right at the back of the hotel and spacious rooms. The breakfast in the garden were a special highlight and the staff went to extra mile to serve us fresh fruit, great coffee, freshly made eggs and we enjoyed the slow start to the day. The Al Cavallino is in the midst of the village of Follina, a short stroll to the abbey and Thursday's market is right in front of it. Be it just for a night or a few days in this lovely area - Al Cavallino is a fairly priced, original hotel which we can warmly recommend.

In June, after a visit to the nearby Abbey, we had a glorious lunch at Al Cavallino in Follina. We were welcomed by the Mamie, a really great lady ! The meal was glorious. The pasta was delicious! And the oso bucco was simply the best we ever ate !! The wine was really good ! We stayed a while, enjoyed delicious desserts. The service was attentive. We said good-buy to the Mamie, promising to return. I highly recommend this restaurant !!
