Coming back to a Chateau surrounded by vineyards, on a lovely October day was just perfect. My wife and I thought St Emillion was the best place we stayed on our honeymoon! Must see for any coming to the area, outside of Bordeaux, highly recommended.

The service was completely acceptable, and the room was nice enough, however the location - both in terms of the natural beauty of the setting and the amazing walk into St Emilion itself through a vineyard (!!) - & the breakfast made this place incredible. The breakfast was sublime.

Was an amazing experience, we were the only couple amongst one other. So was very quite and intimate. Not actually knowing it was a Michelin rated restaurant until afterwards was of no surprise. We both had a divine lunch and the sommelier was the hit, he nailed every wine we had and was on point. Will be back and highly...

For stunning views and impeccably-kept accommodations, book into Château Troplong Mondot. The four-star estate offers a dreamy cottage house, nestled in the middle of the vineyard – with rows of grapevines at every view. Quaintly furnished with chintz fabrics, tile floors, and an open fireplace, the cottage is a welcoming retreat. The two-bedrooms are spacious and each includes bathrooms equipped...

Wow. What a wonderful and tranquil place. The discreet service from the staff is very appreciated and they all could not have been more helpful after our car incident, helping us with our company and language barrier. Bed so comfortable and peaceful sleep. Grounds are so perfect and relaxing, breakfast is very good. The biggest asset is the restaurant. We...

We stayed in the garden house. 2 of us had the entire gorgeous place to ourselves. High end in an old world charming way. Decorating was not overdone but perfect. Spacious cottage by any standards. Lovely paths to the restaurant and town. Beautiful privacy. Competent and low key staff. Restaurant . . . I think my best fine dining experience...

A wonderful experience! Excellent room with its own patio and uncredible view over the city of Saint Emilion. A perfect walk downhill to the city in the vineyards. Informative wine tour. Outstanding food in the restaurant. Very good, but expensive, wine from the Chateau.

I probably do not know enough superlatives to describe this place. It is a stand-alone guest house on a working vineyard. Rolling hills of vineyards everywhere you look. The guest house had a large suite upstairs with a kitchen, living area and bedrooms, the separate room on the ground floor, where we stayed, had a plush and lovely king bed,...

Overall positive. area for improvement; What was below our expectation was the absence of a working airconditioning. At location we were told that it was a new room and airco was not available. For 300 euro a night we assumed that airconditioning was installed. We stayed two nights. It was to warm in the room during the night. Opening the...

“The room was extremely comfortable and plush. King bed, side reading lamps and tables. Two chairs, cabinet with tv, mini fridge with complementary water. Slate floors. Bath had separate toilet, walk-in shower with huge rain head, deep soaking tub and towel warmers. A double sink with large mirror above and cabinets below. Very quiet ambience.”
