We opted to rough it in the jungle, rather than stay at the expensive, cushy lodges. It made for a memorable visit. We spent 2 nights. Pluses: -The food is excellent, and is served with beverages (all is included in the price) -The cost is a fraction of the cushy lodges -You will go to sleep with cicadas and wake...

Mejia Lodge is a small camp by the shore of Sandoval Lake, consisting of a few small wood shacks divided into rooms. Some have two beds, others have three or even four.
