This lodge is well-removed from civilization. The electricity availability was limited to meal times; the rest of the evening hours were by candlelight. Natural jungle sounds awakened you in the morning. Curious little agoutis roamed the grounds looking for "free food"; weaver bird nests populated...More

Rabies vaccination is recommended for traveling to the rain forest/jungle. Is it necessary for this lodge/tour? This is the lodge used by G Adventures, correct?

I did not seek such a shot and did not feel any danger that would necessitate it. This is the lodge used by GAdventures. I loved it, especially in the mornings as I woke up to the jungle sounds.
