For the money we paid I suppose we couldn't expect too much but this was accomodation at its most basic. As the tour company (Pantanal Nature) has it's office based in the actual holiday, it made sense that we stayed here, however it may be worth enquiring what you could potentially upgrade to for a bit of extra cash. Hotel Ramos This hotel comes as standard if booking Pantanal tours through Pantanal Nature (fantastic tour company – request Ailton as your guide). Standard is poor – cold, room doors that do not lock properly, old TVs with Spanish channels only, dumpy; more of a hostel than hotel.
