So glad we decided to MSP for a one-night island getaway...only wish it was longer. Pousada Porto de Cima is perfectly located next to serene beaches but a short walk to the main party attractions of Morro de SP, a serene and idyllic environment with amazing views (ask for room #9 a short uphill walk but the views make it...

After a rocky boat ride to Morro, I got a wonderful reception at Porto de Cima. First impression is a homey kind of atmosphere, but yet offering a up-scale services for a pousada and jungle-like surroundings. The hammock on the patio finishes it off, offering instant relaxation. The breakfast at porto de cima is amazing, and the best I had...

There are resident pets, well-cared for landscaping, hammocks, fridge in the room. A friendly, trilingual Argentine staff. Great location close to all the beaches, but more importantly, the more tranquil side of the island. The wifi doesn't work in the room. We were very close to the lobby area, too.

The gardens are absolutely wonderful but the accommodation needs updating. Restaurant in the evening was not available/advertised. The staff were very well coming and helpful.Located on an up-cline, sobe prepared to walk to the beaches.

We travelled with our two small children to Morro in October for a week. Porto de Cima has a perfect location, five minutes walking on a sandy lane to the village centre with all restaurants and shops but secluded in a garden on a hill overlooking the sea. Peace and quiet guaranteed, only the waves and the tropical birds to...

We travelled to Salvador purely as the weather in rio wasn't expected to be that great. So we had heard very little about morro de São Paulo. With such a high rating on trip advisor, Porto de Cima was an obvious choice, and when we called they could not have been more friendly and helpful. We were met at the...

Was met at the port by Lucianna when we arrived. Our luggage was handled by a local who is registered by the local tourism board. Safe and secure. Fluent English, Portuguese and Spanish. EXCELLENT breakfast. Pancakes as good as I've ever had. Highly recommended. A+A+A+

I stayed here for a week. location is perfect. Short walk to beach 1-3 and almost at the town center but out of the way so its quiet at night. Individual cabins are close enough to each other to socialize if you want to, but if far away so you can keep to yourself if you want. Would be perfect...

Plenty of green spaces inside Porto de Cima, delicious fresh breakfests and charming willing to help service makes it very good place to stay. Its not so far to 1, 2, 3 beaches and very close to the ones on the other side of town that are also nice.
