A hotel with a very low level of service. Poor maintenance. Lack of availability of elementary means in rooms such as a brush for cleaning toilets. Some spa facilities are not maintained and when broken down are not facilities, when this should be the essence of the holiday. Service providers who declared to me in a small talk that are not corona vaccinated. Inefficiency in receiving guests at the entrance. Receiving room keys takes about an hour. The dining room is too narrow to accommodate the number of diners at one time, which impairs service provision, to the point of unavailability of seating, so the host is forced out of pressure to clear plates of people waiting in line, in order to seat others in their place. The hotel's beach is shared with the Herods Beach and is not within walking distance. Shuttle times to the beach vary and the service they provide can not be trusted. In conclusion The hotel is not prepared to provide a reasonable and good service for a high number of guests, as happens during holidays and Israeli holidays, so guests do not receive full value for the much money they pay. Maintenance level is very poor and requires immediate improvement in almost every wing of the hotel. The hotel had a long time during the Corona closure period, investing in maintenance and improving facilities, and chose not to do so. It is recommended to lower the tourist rating for the hotel. It is recommended not to stay at the hotel until all the defects have been rectified.

Usually, when you go away for a weekend it’s to de-stress and allow ourselves to recharge. To relax. After nearly a 2 1/2 hours of a pleasant drive to the Dead Sea, we arrive to our final destination, the Leonardo Plaza Hotel. Upon our arrival, we could not help but notice that there was a long line at the reception desk; moreover, the line didn’t seem to advance although there were 3 or 4 persons working the check-ins. Apparently, from what we learned from other guests standing in line, the computers were down for a while now. Finally, after “stressfully“ standing there for over an hour, we got the keys to our room on the second floor. To our sad surprise we received an old small room, telephone not working, the condition of the bathroom, bathtub and sink were in very poor condition. I’m already worried what else to expect for tomorrow…

The hotel in general not bad ,but some issues should be fixed. "Check in" took 1.5 hour in line . Bus to the beach arrived 5-10 minutes late each time we took it (when the weather is 48 degrees above zero ,it's problematic to wait in open space). The lifts didn't succeed to serve people -waiting till 15 minutes till it arrives. The hotel didn't suggest nothing as entertainment . We visited it during Euro-21 . The hotel has big screen in one of the halls . Why don't switch it and invite the visitors to watch the championship? Some rooms have very weak AC . Our friends changed room twice till get good AC.

We experienced quite a few cleaning and logistical issues with our room on the first day, but the assistant manager, ShirLi, took care of every last issue promptly and professionally. We were quite blessed by her attentiveness. The rooms could use some improvements but were nice nonetheless. We will probably return and stay a little longer!
