The hotel is situated in town centre square with its own private car park. The rooms are adequately furnished with air con and wifi. The beds are comfortable and toiletries supplied. Our room also had a small balcony. There is no lift. The restaurant had great food it was hard to make a choice, and the very good service. It is... More

My wife and I took a road trip through France during October 2015. We took a Brittany Ferry to Bilbao and then drove into France, stopping initially in the Pyrenees and journeying on to the Dordogne and finally catching a ferry home from Ouistreham. The road trip was a combined gourmet experience and sightseeing trip. All the hotels we stayed... More

We stayed here for 1 night. The room was clean but there was a smell of smoke in the room. We ate in the hotel restaurant and the food was superb. We were on half board and the meal consisted of rillettes with toast and salad to start, a large portion, mackerel fillets rice and veg with a lovely creamy... More

I only ate and drank here, popping by for a (really good) coffee after I walked into town. Then returning for dinner (very few options in town). The food was well priced and full of flavour and plenty of options. All of the wait staff were friendly, interacting with diners and still the service was fast, plates cleared quickly. I... More

This is a review of our dinner at this small hotel...we did not use the hotel facilities. As usual, the owner is very welcoming and offers a good choice of dishes or menus even out of the high season....we had a choice of an 18 or 26 eu menu with plenty of a la carte choices if required...the 26 eu... Hotel Henry features in the "good to eat" guide list as presented by Chris and Edwina - owners of our Gîte. They do not lie. Friendly, happy service with standard French provincial restaurant food of good quality. The Squid starter was good as was the Terrine. Mains stepped up a gear with roast duck and a "pavement" of Hake in... More

My review is of the restaurant, not the hotel (we weren't guests there). No real big issue, can't really complain about anything Just average food, top priced, service was fair, to say we had to book and it was empty, no justification for the 23 mins wait to take the order. Nothing good or anything outstanding. Decor left something to... More

Had the menu de jour, 3 courses for very little money, so the portions are quite small but tasty. Really nice terrace out at the back and helpful staff, all situated in a lovely village. I will definitly return here.
