My wife and I stayed for two nights as part of our hectic tour of Uganda. The position of the lodge is stunning and the main reception, dining and pool areas are very good and make the most of the views. The rooms are the main let down as they should have been refurbished 20 years ago! The food was...

Spent two nights here as part of a safari. Room was small but adequate. Main building had spectacular views in every direction. We were there on a Saturday night and were treated to a performance by the local community. Nobody had told us this was happening but we fortunately arrived at the main building just at the right time. When...

This lodge has an enchanting position right between the Kazinga channel and the lake. Rooms are cleaned and nice, in typical African style. Dining room, bar, reception has the ancient taste of British safari. During the evening the classic bush fire is in the garden. I advice you to enjoy a massage in the Spa that is really good: I...

I stayed at the Lodge for one night only - we participated in the boat cruise (our tour group had organised for us to be in the small private boat rather than the larger one). The captain was very knowledgable and explained the different wildlife, in particular loads of birds. Because we had been in the smaller boat we got...

We popped in here just for a drink as hotel way out of our price range, and were greeted by lovely staff more than happy to serve us a drink on the balcony and gave wifi code without us even needing to ask for it. Prices of drinks are easily double elsewhere, but with the use of wifi and amazing...

Large sculpture of elephant before the entrance. Rooms away from the reception. Hundreds of insects near the rooms but we were informed that they are not dangerous. Good view from the restaurant. May spot birds and animals.

I was half way through an 11 day trip when I arrived at Mweya Safari Lodge and I had been pretty impressed with the accommodation up until this point however Mweya Safari Lodge exceeded all expectations. The location is fabulous, the majority of the rooms have a spectacular view of the lake. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff...

I stayed at the Mweya Safari Lodge for two nights as part of a trip to Uganda and Rwanda. The lodge is in a beautiful location, at the top of a hill, with stunning views on lakes and on the park. The property is, however, oldish, it has not been renovated for some time and everything gives the impression of...

There is so much to see and do in Queen elizabeth NP that staying at Mweya lodge makes it all work. It is a luxury lodge with fine dining, a pool, and spacious rooms. There is an onsite family of mongoose and you can go on morning and evening game drives. You might find lions in trees, elephants wandering about,...
