Wow, what a place! Katara is quite the drive from Kampala but when you finally arrive, you're glad you spend that time in the car. The view on entering might the the best lodge view I've ever seen. A full wide safari view awaits you....More

Sorry, no, there is only one star bed that can be rolled out. (Please make sure you are booked into a regular cottage and not the family cottage, which has two rooms but no star bed)

Good evening - elephants are a fairly regular sight. As you can see on our pictures, the lodge/cottages are on top of an escarpment, if you descent, there is about 100m of farmland before the park starts. So it is not up... More
