I ate in the Tourist Hotel and did a tour of some of the rooms, though I didn't actually stay overnight. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the choice on the restaurant menu was surprisingly good, with the food being produced promptly and to a good quality. The hotel is central, has a large car park, and even stretches...

The Kisoro Tourist Hotel was our lodging choice for our mission teams the last 3 years. The accommodations are simple but clean and spacious. The food and service is excellent and they do a great job meeting unusual dining times when requested. The location is excellent if you want to take a walking adventure into Kisoro town. The staff is...

This was my first time to Kisoro and I was very comfortable here. It's definitely a 'no thrills' hotel but it at end of town so it is quiet and it has beautiful views of Mt. Muhavura. The bar and restaurant on the main floor has enough options to keep you going for a couple of days and the hotel...

We stayed here 2 nights in July 2011 when we drove to Kisoro from Kampala with GAP Adventures for the Bwindi Impenetrable Gorilla Trek. After a long 13 hour drive to get here, and seeing the other buildings in this fairly remote little town of Kisoro, we were pleased to see the hotel and our room. Room was on second...

We stayed here for one night on our tour of Uganda. We didn't get off to a good start as one of our suitcases went missing between check-in and our room. Fortunately, Monique overheard us talking about it and we were soon re-united with our bag! Our room was a decent size with a good sized, comfortable double bed. We...

We had to stay here one night because we were double booked at Traveller's Rest. This is a bad place to stay. Not clean, poor showers and beds very uncomfortable. But we did have hot water and a mosquito net . Luckily we could still get all our meals at Travellers, so we didn't have to taste the delights of...

My friend and I shared a twin room for 3 nights whilst on a tour with Page & Moy. First impressions, were not great, but the room was clean and the beds comfortable. There was a table light on the side table, which had a two pin plug, but nowhere to plug it into, since its all three pin, which...

The reviewer and his family were not taking all their meals at the hotel so the food poisoning could have been from else where. There is hot water both in the rooms and the Kitchen, however, the hot in the rooms is only in the mornings and evenings, if a client requires hot water during the day he or she...
