This place has awesome coffee hence the four out of five review. Unfortunately it's expensive, you have to pay for wifi, and you are not allowed up on the roof top terrace unless you are staying in the hotel. Good place if you want to escape the busy streets of Stone town.

My fellow accompanying Adventurer on this trip told me that he came across this gem while awaiting my arrival in Stonetown later that day. We both visited together the day after and tried the spicy coffee. Awesome space filled with loads of character,a friendly team and most reasonably priced. We were staying at a hotel close-by and each time we walked...

If only for the fresh cappuccino I drank every morning. Not only is the coffee at his best at the Zanzibar Coffee House, it is also served by very friendly people and if you like it with some pastries or dessert. The stay in the hotel was marvelous. We slept in the Arabica Suite (A-C available), very charming interior and...

I stayed one night there while on a work trip. It is a great location in Stone Town, and the building has a nice ambiance without the price tag of many nearby hotels. Breakfast on the roof is lovely, and the cafe downstairs is convenient. Wifi works, and there is self-serve beverages on the honor system. The manager was very...

I would recommend this little hotel to anyone visiting Stone Town for a few days. The rooms are all decorated individually and with many little details. Despite my initial skepticism of not having en-suite bathrooms in all rooms, it is not a big deal and bath robes are provided for this purpose. Especially the bathroom of Caturra room has been...

Zanzibar Coffee House is a quirky hotel with awesome character. I loved our strange rectangle room and I loved exploring the nooks and crannies of the place...long twisting corridors, little corners to escape in. Breakfast was wonderful, the staff that served it were super sweet. Saw mostly ladies working here and they were all very friendly. The complimentary mini coffee...
