Daughter and myself stayed here for three nights . Staff couldn't be more helpful and rooms clean and beds comfortable . It was very reasonably priced and close to everything . We found people in Zanzibar as everywhere else great and felt safe . It's a top tourist spot and plenty see . Safari blue island trip is great value...

We just had one night here before moving onto our next destination. A 2 minute walk to the Ferry Terminal and just 5-10 minute walk to get into Stone Town, so a super handy location! Not sure how I would feel walking through here late at night though. The place was clean and well maintained, the rooms had everything we...

Wonderful place that takes great care of travellers - have thought about all needs travellers might have. Rood top terrace is wonderful, rooms are cozy, beds are king size - my single room had a triple bed. staff was very friendly, breakfast was hearty. It so happened that i got sick while there and the staff took such good care...

Dear Nocturne27p, Thank you for your lovely review! Our staff pride themselves in being helpful and friendly, and I am glad they helped you recover from your bout of illness. Just a note, our single rooms have only one bed, you must have been in one of our balcony rooms, which we can arrange for single/double/triple/quad. Thank you for staying...

Warere continues to justify it's warm reviews and did not disappoint and certainly 'did what it says on the tin'. It is a charming little hotel and although some small iniquities such as an extra bed in the room or an awkwardly added bathroom do make it cramped and hot, it is well located and well kept, not to mention...

This is a super little guest house, ideally located on the edge of Stone Town and very close to the ferry port. Great value for money, if you are on a budget. Rooms are fairly basic, but comfortable and clean. Breakfast on the roof top terrace good. No AC but fairly efficient roof fans. Staff are very helpful. They arranged...

While I was traveling in Northern Tanzania in October-November 2014, quite some people recommended me this place to stay in Zanzibar. I trusted their recommendations and decided to book the place. Oh my, I was really impressed! When I got off a ferry from Dar, the ferry port in Zanzibar looked to me like a total chaos and I didn't...

Dear KhunWasut Thank you for your lovely review! We are really glad you enjoyed your stay with us! I am especially happy you appreciated the free ferry pickup as you are right the arrival in Stone Town is quite chaotic and many people get lost. We hope to see you again soon!

My partner and I spent a night at Warere. We were picked up from the ferry site and walked to the hotel. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We were given some juice and some wet towels to freshen up. The rooms were clean and the service was good as well. I would go back there once I am...

Stayed here on our first 2 nights on the island before heading North. Then booked another night to come back before we fly. The reception was great with a cold towel and refreshing juice. We had a room without a balcony as we were out most of the time. The beds are big and high! Showers good. Breakfast is nice...

We spent there a few nights in October 2014. It is such an inviting place. It feels very comfortable and you can arrange many different trips through very friendly people who work there. Breakfasts on the terrace with a nice view are special. The passion fruit and other juices were delicious.Thank you Warere

Great location - walking distance to everything, but set back from the street in a lovely garden. They met us at the ferry, and we hired their driver to take us on spice tour and to the beach. We loved it from when we first arrived and were met with cold towels and a refreshing ginger drink. Bedrooms had AC,...
