The tent cabin was large and well appointed with a full bathroom, plenty of linens, and a comfy king size bed. The tents are widely spaced from each other for plenty of privacy. We had pleasant night wildlife visitors at our tent. The meals were plentiful and expertly prepared by chef Petra and his assistants. Fresh breads and baked goods...

My husband and I visited Kwihala for our honeymoon in October. It was our first ever safari experience and I was quite nervous about the 'rustic-ness' of staying in the bush. From the moment we were picked up by our wonderful guide Said we knew we were in good hands. Kwihala was, on paper, the least 'luxurious' place we stayed...

Second safari experience but first to Ruaha and Kwihala. Both will now be on my list of camps to visit as I continue to fall more deeply in love with Tanzania year after year. Anna was Queen of the Camp during our much too short stay but I know we will be friends forever. Her sweet smile and ability to...

We had four days in this wonderful camp. Everything about it was superb -- the accommodation, the food, the camp staff and the wildlife guiding. We have enjoyed many wildlife safaris over the years and this was one of the very best we have had.

The tents are basic with all the necessities and amenities that one requires on safari, the food is fabulous and the manager and staff are extremely attentive to each and every need that we had. The guiding is absolutely fantastic, each vehicle has a guide and a spotter which not many places do offer. Kwihala and Ruaha are on the...

We were lucky enough to visit Kwihala in early October 2016 - - the fifth camp in our Tanzania safari. Our other stops were in Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, and the central & northern Serengeti. What a uniquely wild and wholly different and wonderful environment we found in Ruaha at Kwihala Camp. It began with a warm welcome from Tam and...

We spent 3 nights in the Kwihala Camp in Ruaha in early October and had a great time. This was the 4th safari we'd been on and, despite all the others being great too, probably our most enjoyable. The camp itself is really comfortable, with loads of elegant touches. The beds were really comfortable, the bathrooms just fine and all...

Dear Iain and Leonor Thank you for your fabulous review. It was such fun meeting you both, and the laughs that we had remain as fond memories. We enjoyed our fire side session with you, going through the photos of the day. The clear favorite was the leopards with the beautiful combretum pods! We are pleased that you enjoyed the...

We had a terrific safari experience with Tam and her team. The camp was perfect - rustic but comfortable classic bush camp - right down to the bucket showers. The service and food was excellent as were our guides Lorenzo and Charles. The wildness of Ruaha was a perfect end to a 4-camp safari experience.

Dear Ron, Ellen and Sarah Thank you for your kind review. It was such a pleasure meeting you all, and we were delighted to share Sarah’s special occasion. We are so pleased that you had a great time with Lorenzo and we still talk about the last game drive with the curious male lion. We so much enjoyed the evening...

During our short time there you are treat like visiting royalty, nothing is too much effort. The tents them selves...

This was our second stop for a safari in Tanzania. This small tented camp was wonderful and exceeded my expectations. You didn't even see the camp until you were almost upon it. That is how well they have the camp blend in with its surroundings. The staff was amazing. Tam is a happy person and was so friendly to everyone...
