The wow is what I exclaimed whilst watching two white rhinos from your bedroom terrace! Been travelling in SA now for about 16 days and this is still our No 1 place thus far. That’s not to say the other places have not been great,...More
I stayed at Three Tree Hill for 2 nights. It is a relatively small and intimate establishment with great staff, great views and it offers an excellent experience for the visitor. The lodge is adjacent to a game reserve and is also close to the...More
This lodge may not be everyone's cup of tea (or gin and tonic - see below) but for us it was as close to perfect as it is possible to get. My wife and I were on an extended touring holiday in South Africa and...More
Three Trees was the last stay on our South African tour. All the places we stayed were wonderful, and we hoped Tree Trees would keep up the standard. We were not disappointed!

Dear Alan, yes is can be cold. However, typically our winter weather here has little or no rain during the months between April and October, and normally the days have clear blue skies with temps up to 25degC. The nights are usually chilly, with clear skies (and excellent stargazing) and temps dropping to 3-5degC. Making the fireside red wine all th more pleasant! Occasionally one of the bigger cold fronts that hit the cape reaches us and we can have a few days of cool overcast weather.
kind regards - Simon
