Baobab Belge is a cosy, very nice and warm place to stay. You're at home in Senegal. Nice breakfast, nice people, a lot of music... The beach is very close, there's a tiny little pool to refresh and you can use the pool in a nearby hotelgarden if you wish. Restaurants and bars are a couple of minutes away. Nice...

My partner and I spent three nights with Dom & Ismael at Baobab Belge, located in the low-key part of Saly. 1 minute walk to the beach and a couple of minutes from restaurants and bars. Great room, access to a big kitchen and fridge space and lots of info from the hosts. Thanks for having us!

Great reception, Dominique made us feel right at home. Very close to the beach and there are some lovely local restaurants around the corner. The setting is a small Senegalese village, no mass tourism here. We had a great stay and would recommend it to everyone.

I have titled it a second home, because that is how you feel here. Dominique is about the most wonderful person I met in Saly. She and her husband a great couple and wonderful hosts. Then, her dad, a super gentleman comes around to help them. I stayed in the Comfort Room, or so... I can't recall exactly, but I...

Baobab Belge is a very cosy B&B, a small paradise in Saly Niakh Niakhal (+/- 80 km from Dakar). The owners of this colourful B&B are Dominique and Ismaëla. Both super enthusiastic and friendly! Live music performance possible! They also organize Senegalese events with delicious yassa poulet and fresh langoustines.

I stayed for two nights at Baobab Belge recently as a single female traveling through Senegal from Canada. Dominique (the owner) found the perfect balance between including me as part of her family yet still treating me as a guest. Her children were just as lovely as she was. Dominique provided a safe, quiet, clean accomodation close to the beach....

Baobab Belge is located in a narrow (tidy) little sandy street, which leads directly to the sea. No troops of tourists here but only very nice, simple local restaurants and some cute shops with a mix of local people, expats and independent travelers. The way you like to 'feel' a foreign country, especially in Africa. The host, Dominique, is a...

Very close to the sea (+- 200 metres) and when it is the first time you're in Africa (or in Senegal) Dominique, the hostess, will put you wise! She'll tell you about the right prices to pay, places to visit, places to eat (the food is very tastefull and in the evening they have little, local, very nice orchestras) about...

Such a special place. When you wake up in the morning, you feel just happy to be there. You are not in a sterile hotel, but in a warm and charming environment. Rooms are very nice and cosy decorated. Breakfast is tip top, and you always meet other interesting people in Baobab Belge. I advise it to everyone who is...
