Where to begin with our incredible stay at the Shangri-La Le Rouesserok? Could honestly not recommend this hotel more. It truly is one of the most relaxing places with a gorgeous beach and rooms and was perfect for our babymoon. The staff are what make this hotel stand out from the rest, after a few days you really do feel like family. No request was ever to big or too small. We were so well looked after particularly by all the beach/pool staff, the wonderful crew that looked after our room, and the breakfast staff at La Bazar. The food was outstanding. We never ever got bored of the breakfast which was a daily highlight. Every meal was delicious, and we particularly loved the Indian (recommend booking though in advance to ensure you get a good time slot!). We also spent many a happy evenings in the hotel's bar which always had great live entertainment which we really enjoyed. This hotel is child friendly though, and we left just as half term started and we noticed a significant shift in the atmosphere once all the children and families arrived. So if you are a couple, ensure outside of school holidays.

The resort is simply amazing; it gives you the feeling that you are in paradise.🏝There are lots of different exotic areas to explore. The staff are extremely polite and helpful 🙂 You will not be bored for a single second and there are numerous places for activities to explore at the island and within the resort. Massage at the resort’s Spa is highly recommended! Lavina’s hand released my back tension, I was so glad that I booked a second session.

An smazing resort in its beauty and size, surrounded by beaches on all sides. A real paradise. From the moment we arrived until the time of our departure we received an exceptional service, in every issue that bothered us the staff always helped and gave their full attention. Our suite in the Frangipani region was large, bright and with a great view of the sea. The room was cleaned and tidied at least twice a day. Ricardo guided us on a tour of the hotel's gardens and the island belonging to the resort, did his job excellent with a full attention. He has a lot of knowledge and he patiently, answered all our questions. The public areas like: the swimming pools, the lobby, the gardens, the beaches, the spa were comfortable and spacious, no words. The highlight for me was the outstanding breakfast that was by all means smashing, from different cuisines around the world, Thailand through India, the Middle East, Europe and more. The restaurants: Japanese, Indian, the Republic on the beach served gourmet dishes with fine food. Worth every dollar!

We recently stayed at the Shangri-La Le Touessrok Resort and Spa during their opening week after Covid restrictions had started to be lifted by the Mauritian Government. I have to say we were blown away by the experience that we had during our stay. After a long lockdown and closure of all hotel operations since March 2020 in Mauritius, we expected there would be some hiccups on the hotel service and operations….but the opposite was true. The customer service from Shangri-La Touessrok management team and all the staff at the hotel were amazing right from the time they received us till we left. They left no stone unturned. The hospitality and warmth with which we were served upon from beginning to end was with Gratitude and from the Heart. This was an experience I will never forget and would definitely go back again. The entire team made our first holiday abroad after a very long period of no international travel one the best experiences. All the top management teams Sunil, Thierry, and Naji have done an exceptional job to ensure all staff were in great shape to serve us from the day they opened. All safety protocols were in place and making all the guests feel safe and comfortable. All the staff gave us the best customer service experience at the hotel despite not having been working at all since the pandemic started. Their eagerness to please all the guests during our stay was highly noticed and highly appreciated. They were genuinely happy to be working at the hotel and everyone wanted to finally be back to Normal business. They genuinely love what they do and it shows. I have to thank the restaurant teams who were highly exceptional in their service delivery especially Nicole, Eddie, Anil and Prem’s teams were highly trained and ensured our every needs were met. They always knew our preferences and were keen to get us to explore new dishes on the menu. Chef Francoise made the best chocolate tart, tart et citron, and the seafood and steaks were divine. Not too mention…. Amazing bbq nights and entertainment every night from different musicians. All amazing talents. Whilst there for a period of a few weeks we started learning Archery with the recreation team with Guilliame and Ricardo. This was an awesome experience to learn a new sport. The recreation centre is fully kitted out with all sorts of sports, games and entertainment. We had daily sessions for enjoying different sports. But archery, tennis (4 courts) and pétanque were our top favourites every day. Guilliame and Ricardo are very good in the recreation Field. They taught us well and engaged with us and other guests often to try new sports. It was really fun and their personalities are amazingly warm and funny. The kick boxing with Dominic at the gym was also great fun. It was tough but a great workout. After a hard days work of lounging around the pool, learning new archery skills and working out in a spotless gym one has to finally unwind and at the end of day would be a slot for a pampering massage or treatment. Twice a week there is a little adventure across to the private island of illot Mangenie owned by Shangri-La. this is a short boat ride but a nice little break from the main hotel to give us an experience for a day out on the island and a different beach. This was really nice and all Ammenities including restaurant and recreation was available. This is where we enjoyed pétanque a lot. At the end of a long trip it was hard to say good-bye to many of the hotel staff and a beautiful resort. Whilst it was sad to leave but we knew this is a place we will definitely come back to. This had become a home for our 3 week stay. Without doubt, this is what makes Shangri-La Touessrok Resort so special. The People are amazing. The Place is immaculately clean, beautifully designed and the views were amazing. The Hospitality is top notch amongst one of the best hotel experiences we have had in our travels abroad. Thank you to all the management and staff at Shangri- La for this amazing holiday after COVID lockdowns and lots of great memories. You made it so special for us all. We look forward to coming again very soon. Wishing you all the best for the 44th anniversaire.
