1. Bed not fresh...hairs on sheets, the ultimate sin. 2. No wash cloths in bathroom. 3. Window cracked. 4. Free Wi-Fi signal did not connect on two Ipads...signal weak. 4. Old, shabby, worn and poorly kept. 5. Room price and check out time not posted anywhere in room. 6. Shower curtain hooks broken. This is your last resort. We chose...

"Jones Beach" is a modest hotel. It does not really keep pace with modernization. However, it has all the basic commodities (fridge, microwave, nice bathroom) to make the guest comfortable. The bedrooms are of small size, but the beds enjoyable. The price is also acceptable. If you are looking for a place of escape with no fancy attractions, "Jones Beach"...

I know photos of the room online are always better than the room you stay in, but I never expected it to be this bad. I would only stay here if its a last resort. I seriously thought the stairs would cave in under us walking up to the room. The sink had hair clogged in it, the shower had...

Yes the hotel is outdated but it was build in 1920. It was clean and needs updating but the people working the hotel were wonderful. They were friendly, accommodating, and made you feel welcome. If you want Hilton hotel, go to Hilton Hotel. This is a hotel in the middle of a residential neighborhood. Very close to Jones Beach. Don't...

People were nice, but the room was not updated at all. The beds were very uncomfortable - one was terribly hard and the other felt like a waterbed. The room smelled a little and the air conditioner (which was off before we got there) did not cool the room down at all. It was cheap so that was nice, but...

2 friends and myself stayed here for one night. It's on the end of the block, tucked into a residential neighborhood. This is a no frills place, let's be clear! let me help you visualize. The check in is behind a plastic barrier, the kind you typically see in gas stations. The wall color looks like you've been dropped into...

This was a homey place to stay. However it was out out of date in terms of decor. Not sure how important that is. The inconveniences I experienced were important. The shuttle service that was advertised was not available and I had to order taxis that were late, including the one I needed for my departing trip from JFK, which...

My husband and I live in Connecticut but we have dined at the fabulous restaurant , Per Un' Angelo located in the Jones Beach Hotel many times. Last week we needed a room for one night to attend a wake/funeral in Seaford and I am pleased to say that it was a wonderful experience. After reading some reviews, I was...

I booked a one night stay at Jones Beach Hotel and it cost over $100. The pictures looked nice online and the quality looked exceptional. Unfortunately that wasn't the case upon arrival. It's location is tucked away in a residential neighborhood and the building looks like an Old rundown building you'd find in the outskirts of NYC. We had to...
