While looking for a Hotel in the East Hampton area at the last minute, due to a business trip, we found The Wainscott Inn. Such a charming and comfortable hotel. Jim and Steve whom are Owner/Partners are THE BEST.... Beyond accommodating. We stayed in one of the cottages and it was perfect. Comfortable beds, a kitchen area with a fridge,...

We stayed in a cottage. The Inn is not a luxury property, but was clean and adequate for what we needed. The proprietors were both very accommodating and friendly. The cottage was private. Extra clothes hangers and pillows were available for the asking. Three of us stayed in the cottage and had enough space for comfort. We would stay there...

I've stayed at this hotel many times over the past few years and I will not be returning after this trip. Our first room really smelled of smoke and it was a non-smoking room. We got moved but this room was unclean. There were hairs in the covers/sheets. the towels were stained and damp and the cleaning service was rude...

No hangers for clothes, no rack for suitcases, beds on metal boxes, ants, and if you ever need to stay there, get a room/cottage away from the highway... Tiny rooms. Very noisy experience for us. 2 minutes after the traffic light changes in Bridgehampton it sounds like a semi heading East is gonna knock down your door and cars sound...

We needed a room at the last minute for a business stay and this was perfect. Much to our surprise even during the off season the Inn was emaculant. Rooms are cozy, inviting and all the conveniences of a studio apartment without a stove. This was a great stay.

I own a house in Wainscott, but was rented so we stayed here. I have traveled all over the world, lived in France, spent time in India, a summer in Sochi, Russia, as well as Nepal. When you consider this place against U.S. standards this is the worst place I have ever stayed, regardless of the price. The room's furniture...

BEWARE: Customer service is DEFINITELY NOT an amenity of this hotel. I called to book a room for my sister's upcoming wedding this evening (Monday, January 19, 2015 at 5pm), and the phone was answered by a man with a severe attitude and absolutely no politeness whatsoever. I asked to book a room for 4 people, and the response was...

Our stay was just a drive by hoping that a room was open. Purely chance and with no info on the property. Our Inn keeper was wonderful and the property was exceptional. The room was immaculate and the owner Jim was a big help finding a restaurant that was open as late as we got there at night. Best pizza...

My husband and I stayed at the Wainscott Inn in September 2014 because we were in town for a wedding and had the worst hotel experience we have had in a long time. We have traveled all over the US, Europe and Asia and have never seen such a poor quality hotel for a $400 a night. The room had...

Stayed 10 days from Aug 2-11 at Wainscott Inn and we are already booked to return soon! Our accommodation this trip was a cottage which was suitable for my family (my husband and I have a 9-month old baby). The little kitchenette worked perfectly with a nice size fridge - we didn't use the microwave though know that there is...
