Stayed for one night and glad we did. The food (Dinner and Breakfast) were outstanding. They have clearly made a conscious decision to focus on a few dishes done very well which is how it should be done in my opinion.

Stayed for 2 nights. Warm welcome, room cosy and spotless. Breakfast ample and delicious. Slater offers good pub food at sensible prices. The meals were excellent and the service was the same. All staff were welcoming and attentive. Throughly recommend.

Stayed here for 2 nights as it was convenient for visiting Stamford and Burghley house. It's a pub with rooms in a small village around 4 miles from Stamford. Our rom was spacious and comfortable with all the usual facilities: tv, hospitality tray, 2 chairs large table, spacious bathroom with separate shower and freestanding roll top bath. Bed and pillows...

We were a party of 17 people celebrating a 95th birthday! Everything was really well organised, we were all served together without delays, good, well cooked hot food without any hitches, not an easy task! The staff were really helpful and friendly and helped to make a very successful and happy occasion. We would have no hesitation in returning.

Cannot praise this establishment enough. We had a Wedding Anniversary meal with friends. Superb meal, value and choice. Our waitress was fantastic and being gluten free my wife was very apprehensive. However, she was pleasantly surprised. Three course meal stunning.

Have driven passed many times but decided to try as enroute to home after long day! Carpark ample. Didn't see much of outside area as keen to eat. Lovely clean interior. Very welcoming-county pub feel. Staff very friendly. Menu is small but still plenty to choose from. Not for eating on a budget but the food is definitely worth the...

My wife and myself have visited The Collyweston Slater a few times in the past, and always felt that the 50 mile round trip was worth the drive as the food, and service, has always been excellent. We went for Sunday Lunch on 26th March. We ordered our drinks at the bar, and informed the young lady that we had...

Stayed two nights and ate both nights in the restaurant. Accommodation was good. We stayed in the Harrod which was beautifully furnished, lovely and warm. Meals all very good with plenty of choice as there was a specials menu for us to also choose from. We didn't wait too long despite a very busy restaurant on the Friday night and...
