Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I had a wonderful time at Fishery Falls Holiday Park. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. The park was clean and well-maintained, and the creek was beautiful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay

A lovely green peaceful spot. Well maintained and clean amenities. The Saturday night live music and Thai food was a bonus. Good value for $20. Per person. The creek at the back of the site was pretty and you could swim in it, but a bit hard to get to if you have old knees. My only negative is that it is a bit far from anything if you want to tour around and sightsee.

Lovely little park close to the Russell and Mulgrave rivers. Put the boat in and caught a rippa Flathead. Owners are lovely and the park is extremely well maintained. Stopped in on our way to Cape York, and liked it so much we stopped in on our way home too.

Surrounded by tropical rainforests and cascading creeks, fishery falls encompasses what this stunning part of the NQ region has to offer. We were visiting this region for a football carnival (which was nice and close to the grounds) but wish we stayed longer to explore the area south of Cairns to utilise the ideal location of the fishery falls park. We stayed in a cabin which comfortably accommodated our family of 4. The cabin was close to a camp kitchen for bigger cook ups with friends on the BBQ. The linen and pillows was very comfortable and enough towels provided for our stay. There is a laundry and a bigger camp kitchen on the grounds about 20m away from the cabin we stayed in. The creek ran behind the cabin and we could here the sounds of the creek from our cabin which was beautiful. When the kids weren’t at the footy carnival they were swimming in the cool waters of the crystal clear creek. We were so fortunate to be at the park for a night of traditional Thai cooking provided by the managers of the park. Probably the best Thai food I had ever eaten I felt very spoilt with all that this place had to offer. For a quality park experience I was so impressed with what this hidden gem had to offer and can’t wait to go back.

I stayed at fishery falls caravan park for two weeks . It was an excellent place to stay I had never been there before , cairns was booked out I’m glad I found this place ,very clean amenities and the grounds were always extremely neat and tidy. The camp kitchens were very good as well. The owners are ver friendly and can’t do enough for you. Saturday night is Thai food night and for fifteen dollars you get a huge plate of the best Thai food ever. The owners wife is Thai and was a chef in Melbourne unbelievable value. Next year when I travel again I would go so far as to make sure I’m staying there again over a weekend so I can eat Thai food. Only thirty eight ks out of cairns so still close to everything .

We love our stay at the park and the 2 bedroom cabin has queen bed and 2 double bunks in 2 separate rooms. Full kitchen, a large clean bathroom and large shower recess and modern shower head. Air conditioner works very well but the two ceiling fans are more than sufficient for us. We loved having breakfast in the front patio, enjoying breathing the fresh air and smelling the flowers. Hosts David and Ann are very hospitable and they showed us their culinary skills in Asian cookings. We will definitely recommend this park for travellers in Cairns( half hour from this park) There are plenty to see within 1-2 hour drive to shopping centres, markets, national parks, waterfalls, beaches and swimming holes.

We hadn’t stayed here before but now I have to wonder why. This immaculate park is well worth the $39 per night for a powered site. It was very easy to park up on our site which had beautiful plants each side giving privacy. The amenities are spotless and the staff very friendly. We were able to visit the waterfall from the park and the Hotel by the entrance was good for a beer and a bite. The on site pool is small but also spotlessly clean and well maintained. We would recommend this park without any reservations

Very clean amenities and camp kitchen. Baby bath in the amenities and music was piped into the amenities. Friendly and helpful staff. They gave us a TV cable so we could improve our TV reception. There was a pretty creek alongside the caravan park. The groundsman informed us of a 4wd track next to the park that we could walk 1.5km uphill to see Fishery Falls.

This park has everything! Beautiful Pool, Lush green gardens, waterfall and running creek, 2 Amazing camp kitchens! and to top it off the Saturday night is so much fun. Anne and Dave put on a special Thai dinner and for only $13 its the best value and so yummy! The music is great and everyone enjoys a dance. My kids had a ball showing off their moves! Perfect family friendly, clean and very well looked after! Anne and Dave go out of their way to make sure your stay is amazing! oh and there is a pub close by for those nights when you don't want to cook. We will be back!

We stayed 5 nights and were so impressed with this park. All staff were friendly, so obliging, and organised. The park itself was immaculate - beautiful, constantly maintained grounds and all amenities. Spotlessly clean toilets and showers, camp kitchens and swimming pool. Found everyone there very friendly. Also loved Macca's Saturday night live entertainment - danced the night away - and $13 Thai meal.
