We have stayed here during the Grassroots Festival for 18 of the last 20 years. Rose has made a constant and successful effort to update and improve the accommodations over the years. Her breakfasts continue to be an outstanding highlight! It's a beautiful and accommodating place in a wonderful area with lots to do. Well worth a visit.

Thank you for returning and making the middle of my season so wonderful. As much as people seem to enjoy their stay with me, I think I still have the best deal visiting with you. I tried to count the number of guests that have come for as many years as you guys. I came up with 12 and then...

Rose did a magnificent job with this winter's projects. I believe she told me she totally redid four bathrooms and a couple of bedrooms, so if you read the room choice tips from previous guests, realize that older ones may no longer be accurate. The Pinot Room's bathroom is now entered directly from the bedroom, so it's completely private. The...

Thank you Mimi and Tom. The project was finished by the beginning of May 2014, so Mimi is right about the old reviews. The rooms affected were the Bordeaux, Syrah, Merlot, Pinot and Riesling. Much of the comments in the reviews have been addressed as much as possible. The photos from the website portray the changes well. The changes that...

We have been staying at Gothic Eves for years during the Grassroots Festival. Once again Rose and her hospitality were a huge part of another fun-filled successful festival. The breakfasts were excellent! Every year Rose seems to add something new that makes the Inn even more charming and welcoming. Really love our stay and already look forward to next year!

This was our second stay at Gothic Eves, and once again we were thoroughly pleased. Rose is so charming and pleasant you won't feel like leaving when the time comes. Breakfast was great again. We opted for the smallest room this time, and it was rather small for two people. No closet, very small shower. Bed was very comfortable. It...

You stayed in the Riesling Suite this time. This room and the Seneca Suite do have standard showers. The other suites had much more room to enlarge the showers when I was renovating. If you are looking for a room that is the least expensive suite but packed with lots of charm and convenience to the first floor, this is...

The Inn at Gothic Eves is warm and inviting and very, very relaxing. Rose is an exceptional host and a wonderfully creative cook. Her staff do an amazing job of keeping the home spotless. The hot tube was a HUGE bonus. We will definitely be back!

Thank you for giving me your feedback on the new changes to the room. The Inn was under construction through the winter, changing Syrah suite and 3 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. It was quite an ordeal but it is worth it when my guests enjoy the space. Syrah Suite is a second floor room with a queen bed and private...

Very clean & a very nice room, easy to find, central to a number of other attractions, super service & absolutely great meals. Rose did a wonderful job making us comfortable. The property is very nice & easy parking. We traveled in all directions during our stay & had no issues in/around Trumansburg. Great restaurant within walking distance.

Yes, the Inn is found between Cayuga and Seneca Lake and nestled in the Village of Trumansburg. In walking distance are restaurants and shops. I am glad you appreciate my efforts to make your stay special.

Lovely home, beautiful rooms, delicious food. Rose is a delightful and attentive innkeeper. We selected this Inn for Cornell graduation weekend to escape the room lottery and inflated prices of the Ithaca chain hotels. We were able to select our room more than a year in advance and avoided the over inflated prices of the chains. A great find!!!

Your comments are helpful to my future guests. Thank you for taking your time to share your thoughts. Yes, compared to Ithaca, this is a quiet place. The guests enjoy the convenience of being close to Ithaca but not the noise of Ithaca. I am glad you enjoyed your stay.

Great rooms and breakfast. Too close to road to enjoy property due to road noise. Location is convenient for day trips to wineries and parks. Amenities including hot tub and indoor communal area were much appreciated and enjoyed!

Thank you for reviewing the Inn. It is difficult to be convenient and still be far away from the hustle and bustle of the Village. To help decide if this Inn is meant for future guests, they need to know that we are located in a Village within walking distance to restaurants, evening entertainment and shops. We are convenient to...

The owner Rose has done a wonderful job of remodeling this old property. The woodwork is beautiful. The Cayuga room has a nice sitting area with a gas stove which is nice and cozy. The bedroom was extremely overheated the first night. She turned the thermostat down for the next night, but it was still quite variable during the night....
