First I have to say what a great B&B you have, Jack. Sometimes we stop at b&b's and they R OK, nice or once in a while 'scary'. Thank you for running a place that felt like we had been there before. We enjoyed your company, your conversation and your darn good cooking. My wife and I will be at... More

Jack made us beautiful and delicious breakfasts and friendly service. The rooms are quaint and spacious and there are nice common spaces as well both inside and out. Right on route 96 you have easy access to local attractions and to Ithaca.

This house is over 200 years old but has modern comforts. The air conditioning was very much appreciated as the temperatures were in the 90s. Jack is an amazing host who served us large delicious breakfasts. We could even use the kitchen if we wanted to! He even sent us home with s snack. We'll be back!

Everything about our 3 night stay was outstanding ! This was our 2 second time staying at Black Walnut. Jack is the best host! Waking up to a delicious breakfast fit for a king was such a treat. The cozy and comfortable rooms became our sancuary after hot summer days of touring vineyards , dancing and riding around in the... More

Everything here is great! Innkeeper Jack is very knowledgeable and helpful. He stocked the fridge with wine and had great advice as to where to eat and what to visit. There are 4 rooms, each one unique and comfortable. We had access to the back porch which was very quaint. His breakfasts were incredible! We will definitely come back

We stayed at Black Walnut for a wedding in the Finger Lakes. Jack, the innkeeper, really makes the stay at Black Walnut. From his delicious breakfasts, to the local wine he offered, to the brownies and apples kept in the kitchen (he even sent some with us when we left), he really made our trip! We stayed in the Blue... Black Walnut is a great historic farmhouse and Jack, the Innkeeper, pays attention to detail and provides those extra touches that you don't get in other B&B's. It is centrally located and convenient to both Seneca and Cayuga lakes and wineries. We loved it and will probably stay again the next time we are in the Finger Lakes region.

My husband and I recently stayed for three nights, along with another couple, at Black Walnut B&B. The old house, with its idiosyncrasies (such as the occasional slant in the floor) has been wonderfully converted to a B&B, It is simply a lovely place to stay. Jack, our host, made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, and he... More
