The room was charming and spacious with a separate bedroom, bathroom, living and dining space. It was clean and furnished with amenities including a refrigerator, utensils, glasses and dishes. The spacious grounds include a tennis court, heated outdoor pool and ample patio furniture both at the pool area and on the grounds. Complementary breakfast with amazing coffee was included. The...

We knew what to expect and were happy with our stay. This is an aged property with character. The common space and rooms are decorated with pieces from another era. There is no feeling of formality and is not trying to impress sits guests. The charm comes from its lack of pretense. It has floors that slope, stairs that squeak...

Coming from South America, and traveling very often to NY to visit clients in relation to my film and advertising business, I was looking for the proper opportunity to get out of the city and live the Southampton experience. I had 3 days free with my wife and 20 year-old son, so I started looking for places. The few hotels...

Our room was small with extremely outdated fittings - repaired to some extent but overall the place felt shabby and in need of serious work. The location however is great. The property is large and had plenty of parking and facilities. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I felt it wasn't worth the money but perhaps I am naive...

As a Swiss fellow guest put it, "time stands still here...sometimes for the good...sometimes for the bad". This place is eclectic, but it is very much in need of major renovations. The hotel was mostly empty during our stay yet, they gave us a room that was very small and dark. With an air conditioning unit that roared and a television...

Maybe we were unlucky, but our room was pretty sad. The room itself was quite small given the price and the bathroom was in serious need of refurbishment. From the pictures you get the impression that the decor is quirky; it's not quirky, it's junky and tacky. The chess board in the gathering room, meant to look inviting, was a...

This inn is close to town, within walking distance, which is about the only thing that is great about it. I read reviews prior to coming for the labor day weekend, even though they were not great, I decided to go anyway. It seems the owner/manager reads them too and comments on how old or rustic this place is, but...

Ono talk about it e of the best kept secrets of the Hampton's, this Inn is simply charming. The people are extremely friendly, they make sure you are taken care of from the minute you check in till the time you leave. I was greeted with a warm friendly smile, some one even helped with our bags and then the...

The accomodations were the worst we have ever experienced for $500/night. The mattress was uncomfortable, the bathroom ventilation was so loud that it was shocking to find it in that condition, the decor was the worst we had ever seen, and the morning breakfast /coffee was not available until 8:30 am so we had to go out to breakfast to...

The 4/5 is for the location and the people. The style is somewhat eclectic and traditional. The people are so accommodating and friendly. Our stay was shortened because we needed more kitchen facilities than those available to us having 4 girls. But for somebody who is not looking to make meals, it would be ideal.
