Great back drop for old Borscht Belt Jewish Catskills Resort photos.....urban exploration and site seeing. However, jokes aside. Its abandoned and in such disrepair you can't enter the buildings as some have 2-3 floors fallen into the centre of the structure. They are bull dozing...More

While its technically unfair to rate a place that's been closed about 18 years now I do want to share some memories. My father grew up vacationing at The Pines Hotel & continued this tradition when he had a family. We would come here once,...More

Not sure which room we stayed in since there was no door. But the pool was awesome !!! You could spend hundreds of dollars a night for 'amenities' at those "other" places if that's your bag. Here I guarantee there wont be any bratty little...More

Unfortunately, this place is closed ... and looks like a war zone now. Some of the old buildings are completely gone. I'm guessing they started demolishing the place and for some reason stopped ($$). The buildings left are very unsafe and they're collapsing in on...More

I'm cleaning out a home built in 1862 and came across a list of daily activities at The Pines which appear as if they are from the 1950's. If you interested in them, please let me know.

I just posted the activities from the 1950 timeframe.
I am very very confused. Is this hotel still open? I thought it was an abandoned hotel?!

I stayed there last week. Only problem was that there were no clean towels and on the 13th floor there was this set of ghost twin girls who scaredo the heck out of me when I got off the elevator
