A great place to stay. Gerry was a superb host and the couple has given the Inn a classy touch. Breakfast was made as per our choice and was fresh, tasty and nicely presented. Rooms are clean and service is great. Some oddities can be ignored- one of the rooms had a washbasin in the room itself( not inside the...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review; we really appreciate your kind comments. We love that drive along the lake to Niagara Falls, too! Summer or winter, it's a quiet, beautiful drive. We look forward to seeing you again--and remember, Sodus Point is a great place for a winter visit, and the Carriage House Inn is a...

Jerry & Claudine are superb hosts who go out of their way to be helpful. We stayed 4 nights during a family reunion nearby. We had a lovely second floor room up very steep stairs. This is a house built in 1870, after all! Jerry came out to the car at night in the rain to haul 2 heavy bags...

Two night stay was accentuated with tasty breakfast. Host was gracious and friendly. Rooms were large and comfortable. Private bathrooms for all of the available B&B rooms were clean and well maintained. Price was comparable for similar B&B experiences. Room served as a perfect base for other local activities.

Great location within walking distance of light house and bay, restaurants, etc. If you are picky about bedding then expect the queen size beds to be two singles pushed together with a cover for the seam. It was not an issue for us. Very quiet area and room. Great breakfasts!

It is off the beaten path for business but wow what a nice break from the usual I90 stops. A very clean room with all the extra amenities the big chain hotels offer. The difference is the charm of the staff. It was so refreshing to visit with the owners and relax in the small town of Sodus Point. A...

The Carriage House, a picturesque building, was within easy walking distance to a beautiful beach. The CH owner, Jerry, was very gracious in welcoming us and the graciousness continued throughout our visit. The room was pleasant (equipped with cable TV), the breakfast prepared to our tastes, and the cookies were marvelous. Some steep stairs were a bit of a challenge...

We drove to Sodus Point NY to attend the funeral of my wife's aunt. Jerry was kind enough to hold two rooms until we could commit to the exact dates and along with his wife Claudine could not have been more gracious and caring hosts. Breakfast at this B&B is a visual as well as gastronomic feast. I could have...

To honor our first Valentine's Day together, my significant other and I spent the night at this lovely inn. Greeted with chocolate chip cookies was an amazing start to our stay. Our room was warm, cozy and beautifully decorated. I can't say enough about Jerry and Claudine - wonderful, wonderful people!
