We took advantage of the winter rates to stay at the Sherwood Inn, and it was wonderful. Our room was lovely and very clean and the staff is the best, always ready with a smile and very helpful. Breakfast is included, and there was plenty of it. And sitting on the porch overlooking the lake is a great way to...

Nice rooms and super clean. Every room is different. The Sherwood Inn is very charming from top to bottom. When we arrived on Friday, all the unoccupied rooms had the door open so we could tour around and see them. Nothing left amiss. One of the staff was polishing the old wood floors. Bookcases everywhere with everything from the classics...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night on a romantic getaway. The bar and restaurant have an upscale feel. All of the rooms are unique and use old-school keys. So much space in the room, very nice bathtub. The Lake is right out from with access when the weather is nice. Quaint town, easily walk-able, a bit over...

The Sherwood Inn is a very unique Inn. Built in the 1800's it features approximately 25 rooms, all differently furnished. The desk staff and wait staff are exceptionally friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The Sunday afternoon entertainment in the pub is fantastic and the atmosphere really makes you feel as if your back...

Our family enjoyed a birthday party with 20 people in a gorgeous room surrounded by two walls of windows looking out on the lake. The service was impeccable with delicious appetizers of crab and thinly slice smoked salmon. Lunch was the most tender of roast beef done to perfection served on Kimmelweck rolls and homemade potato chips that were out...

We visited the Sherwood Inn for a night away after a particularly stressful month. The staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming, to the point that the desk people paged a fellow from the staff to help us carry our suitcase up to the room (third floor). Be warned, the Sherwood Inn has no elevator. Our room, number...

Drove through SkinnyAtlas and decided to stop here for lunch on Jan. 1st. We came in and found a table near the massive old world sort of bar. We were seated next to the window overlooking the lake so maybe anything would've tasted good in that setting? Our server, Emily was responsive and friendly. Lunch started with amazing stretch bread...

We spent 2 nights at the Sherwood Inn at the end of October. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean, which is very important to us. Every Room is unique and our room was very spacious and had a gas fireplace. When we arrived on Friday evening the Inn was very crowded but it cleared out after about...
