My husband and I had a romantic stay at the Lady of the Lake Bed and Breakfast. It was a perfect get away. The propietors were wonderfully attentive to every detail, while still allowing us privacy to relax. The Victorian home is just lovely....as is the view of the lake and town from the front porch. It is within walking... More

Bear in mind that this is a review and is not written to be negative or postive at all, just the facts! This was booked as a birthday gift for my wife and thus I had specific things that I had in mind. The first priority when selecting a B&B for this location (Skaneateles) was a claws foot bath tub.... If all bed & breakast's were as good as Lady of the Lake, hotels would be out of business! Sandy and Barry were gracious hosts and our room (The Stella) was perfect.

We travelled around on this holiday, so stayed at a few places making it easy to compare. This accommodation is where we had the best French Toast - melt in the mouth, having been soaked in Grand Marnier. The B&B seems to be run single-handed by a very able hostess, who has thought of all the travellers' needs. A sit... More

This B&B is a beautiful old victorian house with three rooms available. The whole house is full of beautiful antiques and beautifully decorated. Beds are comfortable and rooms all have wonderful little touches. Breakfast was scrumptious! Sandy, Barry and Chelsea (the dog) are personable and very helpful and friendly.

Absolutely charming, impeccably maintained lush inn run by an absolutely charming, attractive innkeeper. Fantastic location across the street from the lake & a park. It's basically right downtown so you can walk to everything and this is a walking town, filled with people strolling and dogs being walked. Which brings me to my next point. We brought our two dogs... More

We were in Skaneateles for a business/social meeting. I chose the Inn because of the location to our scheduled events. We were able to walk to town and to restaurants. The rooms and home were charming all decorated in Victorian style. Our hostess and Inn Keeper, Sandy was gracious and most helpful in her information. We also enjoyed her background... More

This was an excellent Victorian B & B by far! A very comfortable stay that included a lovely room-very clean and comfortable with charming antique furnishings. The wonderful breakfasts were outstanding and the hostess always friendly and accomodating! We felt right a home in this lovely place!

The only complaint that I can come up with is that the time at Lady of the Lake went too fast.. Sitting on the porch with a glass of wine and chatting with the other guests washed away all of the work weeks trials. The beds are very comfortable and cleanliness was in the for front. The breakfast both mornings... More

Overpriced and unkept. Owner was VERY tacky and did seemed uninterested that we were guests. Good location, but photos misleading.

“We stayed in The Stella with a king size bed and it was spacious but when the innkeeper was fixing up the Loft suite, she let me go up to the third floor where there is a complete other living space like you'd find at home.... I wish we stayed there but probably wouldn't have left the house. The view was amazing!”
