Nice staff, easily made reservations, inviting & comfortable room, amazing dinner in the connecting restaurant (made using fresh herbs, nicely seasoned, tender meat, fresh veggies and fresh fruit) & a delicious desert that accommodated our gluten-free needs. Location was great, very charming.

We've stayed here for years visiting family but needed a single night on this trip. I've never stayed at a better B&B. While there are new hotels opening in nearby Saratoga, you can't beat the personal service of this B&B. There are three rooms and all come with private bathrooms. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are extremely clean....

Lovely comfortable room, very clean and well-cared for, antiques in downstairs parlor, etc., period photos, etc. Pleasant restaurant downstairs for dinner--and for a filling B&B breakfast, too. However, if you can't wake up early enough, as was the case with my traveling companion, there is a darling bakery just up the street which serves full breakfast, too. A marvelous old-fashioned...

Stayed at the Dovegate twice, wonderful experiences both times. The Garden Room is not only sparkling clean and comfortable, but gives luggage-heavy travelers enough room to stretch. Friendly, super-accommodating hosts. Be sure to have dinner at the restaurant downstairs!

This was my first stay here and I found everything very, very clean. The furniture (real wood, not laminate) was highly polished and the rooms were tastefully decorated in a comfy New Englan style, with cleanly laundered, fresh bedcovers (not old musty ones), nice clean wood floors and carpets, with a very nice, although small, bathroom with shower.
