Wow! What a perfect place to bring the family. This house and surrounding property has it all, and not to mention just minutes from Cooperstown and Cooperstown Dreams Park. The grounds have an awesome array of herbs and unique flowering plants. Additionally, our 8 and 12 year olds were thrilled at the wildlife and reptiles they found on the property,...

Visiting from southern california for a baseball week at Cooperstown, our family had a great stay at this private location. Our family of 7 had lots of room and enjoyed playing board games, the large patio, and of course the BBQ and the secluded area. Our hosts made sure we had everything we needed and gave us a great welcome...

What a wonderful stay at Comfort Woods, Rick and Cheri are great hosts. The accomodations were perfect. We slept 7 of us very comfortably. We expecially loved the sunrises off the deck and the hiking to the waterfalls were perfect to keep the kids entertained. The drive to Cooperstown was very short and not bad onto Cooperstown Dream Park. The...

I stayed at the Comfort Woods Guesthouse last spring. It is a wonderful place to stay. Its eclectic decor, both indoors and outdoors, promotes an atmosphere of intrigue, timelessness and adventure. I went with a group of friends. We had fun grilling on the spacious deck, bicycling the country roads, hiking the terrain that James Fenimore Cooper wrote about, and...

Comfortable accomodations in a private setting on a country road with great views. We took a long bike ride on paved country roads and especially enjoyed the goodies at the Fly Creek Cider Mill. We enjoyed leisurely dinners that we cooked in the fully equipped kitchen and consumed on the spacious deck. Also enjoyed a quick snooze on the hammock...

I stayed one night by myself at the guesthouse because I wanted to bike ride around Cooperstown. One day I went hiking with my friends. I even camped outside in my tent. It was a warm peaceful night. If you like to do things outdoors, then consider sleeping at the guesthouse. Bring your bike, hiking geer, and more! It is...

The layout provided room for all to enjoy playing, eating, sunning on the deck and chilling in the hot tub. It is an easy drive into historic Cooperstown which is a must place to check out. I...

We had a lovely time at the guesthouse. We stayed there to do some bicycling, and it fit our needs perfectly. We liked its location outside Cooperstown yet close enough that we could easily get into town for dinner or to go to a museum. The place seems just right for a group such as ours with a common interest...

What a comfy cozy stay!! Spent the weekend with some cycling friends and was thoroughly impressed with the facilities(loved the shower). I always enjoy having the option to cook my own meals and this kitchen was completely loaded. The decor is so interesting with all the personal touches that have warm and special meanings. And, of course, being secluded in...
