I stayed with my boyfriend and our 2 year old pup! We felt right at home. The Homestead is 10 minutes from the town, which has dog friendly shops, and had amazing dinner and drinks. In the morning there were Vegan Homemade Waffles- to die for, I was upset that my stomach wasn't bigger and couldn't fit more.

If you're vegan, enjoy B&Bs, and love rescued farm animals this is the place. Homestead is super dog friendly and Erica and Nancy are great hosts. The bed was a little lumpy but the rooms are quaint and the historic aura of the inn is very much intact. The animals at the sanctuary are amazing and wonderful pedagogues for the...

My daughter and I stayed at the Homestead to celebrate her 10th birthday. She wanted to see/pet the animals at the Sanctuary. Everyone was so friendly and kind and she really felt special and had a great time with all the animals. The food was delicious, the accommodations excellent. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Perfect destination to get away from the bustle of the city. You immediately feel at home when walking through the door. They were nice to even upgrade us to a bigger room free of charge. Going down to see the animals is a treat and the workers are all nice and smiling. Volunteering for the day is highly recommended and...

We wish we were able to stay for more than one night! The Homestead is a beautiful property, with lots of exposed brick, gorgeous hardwood floors, and plenty of charm. The rooms are super clean and beautifully decorated. We loved all the pictures of rescued animals throughout the space - especially when we got to meet those animals at the...

I loved meeting and seeing all the animals and how they interact with other species of animals at the Santuary and they all get along. Some of the animals have their very own close animal friend. The animals live a happy life at the Santuary. After our tour we were met by the Founder, Kathy who knows each of her...

We were really lucky and there was a cancellation so we were able to stay here last minute. The Homestead is a really lovely B&B and the Catskill Animal Sanctuary is wonderful--make sure to spend lots of time walking around with your VIP pass which allows you to walk around even without being on a tour. We stayed in the...
