Wanted to show my friends the town and we only had a few hours before hitting the road early the next day. Got to show them the Saratoga Brewery, and Druthers with their amazing pretzel and beer cheese dip. Downtowner was the best bet for location, price, and comfort.

Excellent downtown location. Able to walk to Museum, park, shopping, restaurants, cafes. Not the Ritz but people make the difference. Friendly folks with lots of information on the best restaurants and attractions. Although its an older building its clean and quiet. The weather was beautiful and we sat on the porch to people watch after our walk. Breakfast was limited...

After much debate, my husband won this battle and we stayed here with a $69 coupon. The room was normally $119 (which is more than the Hilton). The room was fairly clean, but the bedspread has blood stains on it. But the worst was the noise. We checked in on a Sunday afternoon and there was construction in the adjacent...

We stayed here on our way to Vermont just to shorten the long drive. It was the middle of winter on one of the coldest nights of the year but the hotel was warm and fun to be in. It is located right in the center of town, walking and biking distance to everything fun to see in the area....

Very accomodating motel within several blocks walking distance of the City Center where the dances were held. Staff was most helpful. Tasty continental breakfast (complimentary incl. fruit, juice, coffee, raisin toast, muffins etc). I've been staying here for several years and it is always clean and neatly kept. Non-smoking. Rooms are spacious with large tv, hot shower, fresh towels (as...

People were so welcoming. I love the casual, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It turned out to be the coldest weekend of the year (at least, so far) and the staff came around with extra cozy blankets for everyone. I didn't use the pool myself, but it's nice sitting around it at little tables and chatting.
