We stayed for 4 days at this beautiful inn. For anyone wanting a true adirondack experience, this is the place to stay!! The house is decorated in true adirondack fashion and the rooms are gorgeous. We felt very comfortable. Coffee in the morning and breakfast was something that I miss to this day. I still talk about Anthony's espresso! Each...

The food was exquisite and our host was extremely accommodating and attentive. We loved the Billiard Room and the bar. The grounds are gorgeous and well kept. We will definitely return to the charming Porcupine Inn.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Porcupine for one night in late July 06, we were accommodated in the Mohawk room. I chose the Porcupine based on it's pedigree and the tremendous reviews it had received; I was not disapointed in any way. Any Inn can be made to look nice but it is the character of the landlord...

My wife and I spent two nights and three days at The Porcupine B&B at the end of July 2006. Our host was Anthony Dawson-Ellis. The Porcupine is an extraordinary home with a rich 100 year history. We left with the following impressions – Extraordinary in its design, construction, furnishings and service, this home, originally built for a single family...

I have to agree with the recent member from New York, NY. Our trip was a bit dissapointing. I was most disappointed with the service. My husband and I wanted to be alone and were not interested in having drinks before dinner or having breakfast every morning with the other guests (although the breakfasts we did have were wonderful). The...

My husband and I stayed at the Porcupine Inn for 2 days over the Fourth of July weekend and had a great time - quiet, cozy and relaxed. We usually don't care for the hotels we stay in since we usually spend most of our time outside. But, this was one place where we were so torn between staying in...

I had an idea to get away at the last moment. It was great to be given such a delightful stay where everything can be forgotten from a busy schedule. Setting was quaint and welcoming. No pressure. We could do whatever we wanted, whenever! The Breakfast was definately the best I have ever had. Thanks Mate!

My wife and I just returned from two nights at the Porcupine followed by two nights camping a few miles down the road from there. The Porcupine is a lovely place. I would call it rustic luxury. You are certainly aware that you are in a century home (it is pretty unassuming on the outside) but the beds, the linens,...

It may be time for this forum to be tempered a bit. Don't get me wrong, the Porcupine is a nice place. There are fireplaces and a hot tub, and the rooms are spacious. However, as far as top-end b&b's go, this place was just a cut above average. Their website makes it out to be a LOT more than...

My wife and I just returned from our weekend at the Porcupine and are immediately comparing our schedules to see how fast we can get back there. Everything was perfect, from the relaxing rustic decor, to the beautifully presented (and delicious)breakfasts, everything was more than we could have hoped for. There isnt enough room here to spell out all the...
