What a spectacular weekend we had at the Porcupine. The staff / owners, Andrea and Anthony, made my wife and I feel special; friendly but out of the way. The common space was spacious, unlike any other B&B we’ve stayed at, and the room extremely large. The manor’s décor perfectly fitted the area, but with many special luxuries / amenities...

This is no ordinary Bed & breakfast. If there is a B&B equivalent for 7-star hotel, well, then, this is it. It’s set in a tranquil area just next to Saranac Lake and the owners more than meet your expectations. This is not a B&B concentrating on making a profit. This is a B&B concentrating on giving you unrivalled service....

Porcupine Manor was a wonderful experience. It is what an Adirondack B&B should be defined as. The accomadations were very roomy and the service was exceptional. The manor was elegant yet casual. The hightlight is clearly the delicious breakfast that is included with the room. I would recommend the Porcupine to anyone traveling to Lake Saranac.

Having stayed in three of the Porcupine's beautiful rooms by now I can vouch for the consistency of decor, appointments, and outstanding service. The proprietors have earned our repeat business with outstanding hospitality, and those little touches that make all the difference in the world. The perfect Adirondack setting in a beautiful Historic home. This is what you have been...

The Porcupine had my heart when I got warm cookies on my night stand. It is just above and beyond even a 5 Star Hotel. I had a nice glass of wine in the hot tub and counted stars. Something I rarely see in NYC. Loved it!

Perfect. Our stay at The Porcupine was even better than expected. The Mohawk Suite could not be nicer--beautifully outfitted with an excellent king size bed, comfy furniture, and the extras that one enjoys. The house was tastefully appointed. Clearly, the owners have knack for understated elegance. Breakfasts were excellent, performing cat (Monkey) kept us entertained, and the advice and help...

One of the highlights of our visit in the Lake Placid region was our overnight stay at the Porcupine Lodge. We found the service to be extremely friendly and warm, from the initial phone reservation to the moment we reluctantly checked out. The lodge itself is a beautiful and very well maintained historic buliding, which the owners have filled with...

My boyfriend and I truly enjoyed the Porcupine Inn, and went from August 4 th through 9th. We are returning already on August 28th. From the awesome, filling breakfasts before we went hiking to the friendly hosts Andrea and Anthony to the advice on what hikes to take that day to the coziness/cleanliness of the Inn, our stay could not...
