We had the good fortune of staying here for the weekend of a friend's wedding. Bruce (the owner) was incredibly accommodating and hospitable! The rooms were lovely, pristine and private. We had a large beautiful fireplace and updated bathroom. We really enjoyed the delicious breakfast made by Bruce. We certainly would stay there again. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway!...

Beds comfortable. 3 of us in the Railroad Room which had 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds with a bathroom off of the entryway. No closet, no place to put suitcases except on the floor. AC window unit which worked great but didn't cool bathroom. It was unusually hot when were there in September. Nice front porch to sit...

My husband and I stayed here for my birthday and fell in love with the beautiful home and great hospitality that Bruce offered at the Scudder Hill House. I highly recommend the Kirkside Park room as it has a lovely fireplace. Also, they offer a delicious breakfast in a warm and inviting dining room. We will definitely be back!

Rae and Bruce are like coming home to the best kind of family...the family that cooks breakfast that is both gourmet and comfort food all in the same setting. The family that is glad to see you and wants you to rest and relax. The rooms are spacious (one for daughter and one for us) with the best cotton sheets...

After initially meeting Bruce you knew you were in the right place, such a very charming man. For our first bed and breakfast experience I say it was one for the books. We were the only ones to check in on Friday but how delightful that turned out to be. From drinking tea out on the wrap around porch, to...
