Three couples were traveling together and we booked three rooms back in the Germond House. This is an older house (1844) in the back. Rooms are spacious with a large bedroom and a sitting area at the front. All was pretty clean, nice amenities, two TV's. New York sherry was a nice touch in the rooms. Housekeeping service was very...

While we were visiting Rhinebeck, NY, we decided to try this beautiful old Inn for lunch and we weren't disappointed. We had a lovely lunch in their glass enclosed room so the best of eating outside without the bugs. We had a large group and their normal seating outside only served 4 per table. If I had one complaint it...

Upon the recommendation of our travel agent, we were booked into the Delameter Inn, one of the Beekman Arms properties. What a disappointment! From the lacadaisical fromt desk attitude to the broken furniture, this was a truly second-rate establishment. It speaks to a completely incompetent, unresponsive management. Our property was located about a quarter of a mile from the main...

I stayed at the Beekman Arms & Delamater Inn from July 3-6. I was in one of the so-called "modern" courtyard rooms on the Delamater property, which are nice rooms but not nearly worth the price what I paid. Although I did not mind the short walk to the other property from the main inn, I was surprised by how...

I have eaten at the Beekman Arms Restaurant in the bar/pub area on several occasions. Love the ambiance of this old historic inn; literally taking a step back in time when you enter the front door. I've never been dissatisfied with a meal I've ordered; all have been good and reasonably priced, and the service good. I feel that the...

My daughter and I stayed in one of the newer rooms in the Delamater Inn while touring colleges in the area. The room was spacious but the bed wasn't that comfortable and the furniture and features were a bit dated. Unfortunately, our neighbors came up the stairs laughing and continuing to be loud in their room - not the fault...

Great food, decent prices and a lovely, historic, well preserved inn, They bill themselves as the oldest Inn in America and the art, furniture, photos and people were all very interesting. We would go there again. We ate there while travelling up the Hudson going to Woodstock and it was a lovely stop. The town is beautiful and the shopping...

I am perplexed by the negative reviews from some travelers. My husband and I stayed at the Beekman Arms for two nights in June. We had a nicely decorated, spacious room with a four poster queen-sized bed, a fireplace, a day bed and a round table seating four. The bathroom was large. Considering that the Beekman Arms might be the...

Looks so charming from the outside, I was really looking forward to our stay. The room was off site and a little strange. We were told we could walk to the main lodge for breakfast which was nothing special. The room had a platform bed and the walls were quite thin, we could hear EVERYTHING in the room above us....

Came here for a friend's wedding and am so glad to have had the opportunity to experience Rhinebeck. It is a charming, quiant vacation town that is very walkable and has lots of cute shops and restaurants. The Beekman is a living piece of history, and the main building especially is like stepping back in time. We stayed on the...
