Mike, the owner, is friendly & helpful but this is a fishing spot, for sure. If you are looking for a luxury RV resort, go elsewhere. Stoney's is for serious fishermen & bird lovers. You will see eagles along the river. We were the only people there on Mon-Wed. It was quiet & peaceful although the bugs were bad.

This was my first time ever at Stoney's. I was brought by a friend who has been coming for years. The place is not very appealing and clean. I found an empty condom box on the side of the bed which didn't start the weekend of well. Fishing location is fantastic. ... It's definitely a place where the party animals...

Stoneys campground is the hands down craziest place I have ever stayed. Picture yourself in the wild wild west of the east. Gunshots and fireworks are the norm. Big fires, loud music. If you come here to relax go to the Holiday Inn. I set up camp here with two other guys and had one of the best times of my life....

The cabin was the absolute worst room we have ever rented from a "looks" perspective. The door was crooked, the curtain was a dirty towel, there were bullet holes in the window, a broken chair, stained flooring, even the guys wouldn't sit on the sofa (unless their waders were on)... cosmetically, it was amazingly bad. Despite all that, we had...

Ok so let's be honest Stoney's place is a disaster by looking at it from the eye basically its disgusting there is no money put into this place to be a legit campground. Now as for Stoney's from a fisherman its a great place. It's dirt cheap cause its well "old". How ever I have always stayed in the cabins...
