The campground is about 10-12 miles from I-84 and I-87 , Check-in was very quick and simple. The fees, some would consider on the high side, about $61 a night (w/s/e/c/wifi?) plus activity fee of $6.00. But this is New York and due to the campground's proximity to the NY metro area there is no shortage of campers who are...

Our family had a beautiful 3 day trip Oct. 14-16. We stayed in a cabin K110. It was perfect. My daughter really loves all the activities, the hay ride and the pancake breakfast. The staff is wonderful and helpful. See you again next year.

The campground was nice with wooded spacious sites. The reason we chose it was to take the tour to New York City. It was perfect for a first timer's overview. We met at 7:30 am and returned at 7 pm. A little late due to the traffic we encountered in the evening. OUr tour guide, Mitch, was extremely knowledgable and...

We recently stayed at the New York City North/Newburgh KOA! They have very nice sites nestled into the woods. Plenty of room on the pull thru sites. The facility is nice/a decent camp store, and the staff is pleasant an accommodating. Their cable tv is limited to only a few channels but they do have decent wifi. We plan on...

We wanted to stay somewhere where we could travel into New York but not feel like we were in the city. This place is perfect. It took us about an hour train ride to New York.... a nice ride along the Hudson River. People are so friendly our cab driver even gave us his personal mobile so we could call...

As stated in the title, this isn't the typical KOA. Read on to learn why. First, it isn't near any handy interstate intersection. It is, however, handy to state route 32 half way between New Paltz and Newburgh so access off I-84 from the south or I-87 from the south or north is within 12 miles from either town. Second,...

We were looking for a campground to stay at for a quick weekend getaway and this one quite fit the bill. Sites were all wooded and private, with was nice. We have a 38' Class A and most campgrounds that can accommodate the larger rigs end up looking like a parking lot. This one had a much nicer feel, like...

We are on an extended trip in our motorhome, headed north to Maine. We stopped overnight as part of our trip. The campground was well maintained and easy to navigate. Our site was somewhat level and the pull-thru site worked fine for us without having to disconnect our tow car. They have cable but the channel selection was very limited....

We weren't planning on staying here, but ended up here for 4 days while the tires on our camper were fixed. This is a hidden gem! A pool, lots of activities, free pancake breakfasts, a jump pillow, and one of the best camp stores I've seen. And just a train ride away from NYC! I would recommend this campground as...

We had just purchased our new toyhauler and the wonderful folks we bought it from offered to take us out for a trial run (they have a 2nd camper). With this campground only 30" from home, it was the perfect place to learn how to use our new RV. We were able to secure sites #88 for us and #89...
