This B and B with 4 bedrooms is in an old brick house next to the Eire Canal in the upscale village of Pittsford, New York, a suburb of Rochester. It is clean and nicely decorated (mostly in Victorian style) with comfortable, high old-fashioned beds and ensuite bathrooms. The living room with electric fire[lace and comfortable couches and chairs is...

Definitely a Purr-fectly Romantic Inn....The Canal Lamp Inn B&B is a lovely old Victorian Home right next to the Erie Canal. It has been brought back to to a beautiful home of the era with great decour throughout the home. They have four bedrooms on the second floor. We were in the Zornow Suite. It was decorated completely to match...

Large old house with victorian and shabby chic decor. The breakfast was more than ample and the rooms generous in size. The setting was lovely overlooking the canal, but sadly for me it was raining most of the time I was there and the end of March was cold for me.

I stay at Canal Lamp Inn at least 4 times a year on business trips. Prefer the Zornow Room because it has hot tub. Front room can be noisy because faces Main Street. Several good restaurants within walking distance, such as Erie Grill in Del Monte Lodge (5 Star) across Canal from Inn and Hicks & McCarthy (4 Star) one...

The Inn is right beside the Erie Canalway Trail - Wonderful breakfast and room was comfortable, cosy and stylish, with a grand dash of country inn. The community is ideal for a stopover for cycling or a road trip.

Not to be missed if you are looking for a nice weekend away or as a stop over on your trip. Beautiful comfortable rooms are pure luxury from the comfortable bedding, rain shower head in the spacious tub and plush towels. Breakfast is homemade fresh to your order. You are right across the street from the trail along the Erie...

We had tickets to a play in Pittsford and decided to make a mini vacation out of the trip. We picked the Canal Lamp Inn because of it's location and pictures on the internet. The owners were super friendly from the time we made the reservations through our checking out after a very nice breakfast. They offered to do anything...

my son lives in Pittsford and this inn is just a few blocks from his place, so it's very convenient for us, but besides that I recommend it. It's name comes from being right next to the Erie Canal, in a canal segment that has walkways, restaurants, stores, pubs among other locales. this B&B has classically decorated rooms in a...

Stayed here in September for 2 nights, the room we had was immaculate, it had a jacuzzi which we used. The attention to detail made the room feel homely. In all our travels, we can honestly say that the breakfast we had was the best we have ever had in any hotel, everything was freshly prepared and the hot food...

We were visiting the area to attend a family wedding. After a five hour drive, we were able to check-in a bit early, cross the street and walk a 5k on the Erie Canalway trail way before getting ready to attend the wedding which was a 5 minute drive away. Restaurants are also within walking distance and you can enjoy...
