A wonderful home with a very hospitable couple. Delicious breakfasts and helpful advice on local activities, restaurants, and wineries. The only change I would ask for is some heavier curtains in the Wm Oliver room to make it a bit darker at night and sunrise in the morning.

We have stayed at the Fox Inn twice in the past 2 years while visiting relatives in the area. The Inn is historic and located within walking distance of shops and restaurants in Penn Yan. We stay at the Inn with other relatives/friends as the Inn has wonderful common areas, a parlor which is great for visiting, relaxing or playing...

Coming to The Fox Inn is like being at home, except someone else has the place all clean and tidy. Mike and Tanya greeted us with smiles and made sure our bellies were filled with a gourmet breakfast. Penn Yan is a quaint little town that takes pride in its heritage. Be sure to walk around town before heading out...

Spent two nights there with another couple. Mike and Tanya were very accommodating and gave the Inn a warm, home-like atmosphere. The breakfasts were excellent with a nice variety of choices. Good location to be able to walk the town of Penn Yan to browse or dine. They were kind enough to introduce us to their two young boys and...

Four of my family recently spent 2 evenings at the Fox Inn B & B. It is a beautiful old (1820) home and well run by a lively family with 2 little boys and 2 dogs! Great breakfast choices and we felt welcome and "at home" while there. Highly recommend for a romantic getaway or family time.

Mike was welcoming as soon as we walked through the door. We told him certain wines we were looking to try; he wrote down the vineyards to hit to make the most out of our experience. We stayed in the "Lucy Room" which was the perfect size for two people and was very clean. The Fox Inn was easy to...

We stayed in the Lucy Fox room for two nights during our trip to the finger lakes. Mike the owner was a great host. Breakfast is HUGE and delicious. We had the cinnamon roll--which lives up to its name as the Mother of All Cinnamon Rolls, the creme brulee french toast, the "fox trotta"--Mike's version of a frittata which probably...

We stayed in the Dorothy Fox suite and it was a perfect accommodation for our race weekend as I was participating in the Peasantman Triathlon. My wife 30 months pregnant and I couldn't have had a better more relaxing stay than we did over the weekend. The pancake breakfast was absolutely amazing and perfect for the day before a race!...

My fiancé and I had a wonderful overnight stay at this location. Penn Yan is a very quaint, charming town with a surprising amount of things to offer. We arrived late at night (around 9:15 PM) and were pleasantly surprised to still be able to meet Mike. After a brief and pleasant conversation, we were escorted to our room, which...
